    Once the orchestra was in tune, and Kotona had her harp, the director arrived. "Okay...Kotona, if you would narrate the opening, please."

    "Once upon a time, deep within the forests of Ransei, a little boy was born." Kotona began. "His mother, an herbalist by trade, named him Kintaro, meaning 'golden boy'. Kintaro was blessed with great strength, and as he grew older, he grew stronger. By the time he was eight years old, he was able to cut down trees as quickly as the woodcutters. He would often go out in the forest and help the woodcutters, who called him 'the miracle child,. His mother was known as the 'Guardian of the Mountains'. She knew which herbs cured what diseases, and which herbs, berries, and mushrooms were safe to eat."

    She went on "From a young age, Kintaro made friends with all the Pokémon; and learned to understand them. In turn, the Pokémon looked upon Kintaro as their master, and they served his servants and messengers."

    Kotona nodded. "One day, Kintaro went up into the mountains, followed by his companions. After walking for some time up the hill and down the dale and over rough roads, they came to a plain covered with flowers."

    "Come on..." Miyune led Meru onto the stage, along with Eiji and two other actors.
