Have you had any cool dreams about Pokémon before?

I had an interesting one last night that I think happened before Cynthia became the champion and was about how she got her Lucario.

So it started off with Cynthia becoming the gym leader in Snowpoint City. Not sure that's canon, but that's what happened. She was on her way to Snowpoint by bus when she heard a rumor of a pack of aggressive ice Pokémon terrorizing the town. She went to check it out and found out that there Pokémon was apparently a strange Lucario that lived with the pack of ice type Pokémon in the mountains. Apparently it had suddenly become aggressive for some reason.

She went to find the Lucario and found a mega Lucario, although she didn't know that's what it was, collapsed inside of a cave with a Pokémon that looked similar to Mew laying on top of it, also too weak to move. The Lucario could speak and told her it didn't know why it transformed like it did, but it did so it could fight off the real aggressive Pokémon that had attacked their pack. After that, Lucario had lost control and went on a rampage and Mew had to stop him. The rest of the pack had run away in the fight with the aggressive Pokémon and hadn't come back.

At some point, it was revealed that Lucario and Mew had had trainers in the town, but Lucario's trainer had gone missing years before. The Mew's trainer had been the missing trainer's sister who still lived in Snowpoint, but Lucario had convinced Mew to leave with him because some people had been after it and Lucario wanted to protect it.

With all of that information, Cynthia healed the two Pokémon and headed back to the town with them to find out what was going on. She met Sara, who had been the Mew's trainer and found out that her brother had been named Noah. One of their parents had been a scientist who had attempted to clone Mew, with limited success. Her Mew was actually somewhere between being a Mew and a Ditto and was constantly transforming into other Pokémon to keep it's malleable form held together.

There was a flashback as Sara explained how her brother had gone missing back when they were kids. There was a bad person attempting to steal their parents research and the Mew clone and he had gone after the two kids to use for a ransom. They had been in an old library with a computer lab that was sectioned of from the rest of the library by a curtain. Sara had hidden behind a door with Mew and her brother's Riolu. Noah tried to call to her to get her to hide behind the curtains, but she thought if she moved from her spot that she would be seen, so she stayed put and just hugged the two Pokémon close to her. When the police arrived and arrested the would be kidnapper, they went to get Noah from behind the curtains only to find he had somehow vanished. He had been missing ever since.

At some point it was mentioned that Noah had been a genius like their parents and was very skilled with computers. Cynthia came up with the idea that somehow he had never left the computer lab and after searching she found a secret door that led to a slightly more advanced computer lab. Noah was still there, an adult by that time like his sister and he had been sneaking in and out of the lab for years after he discovered it while hiding so he could take whatever food or other supplies he needed. The lab had been left behind by some unknown scientist and Noah wanted to keep the secret for himself while he tried to discover a way to create a virtual Pokémon and materialize it in the physical world. That way he would be able to create a real Mew without cloning it. He also suggested that he might be able to cure diseases and even regrow limbs using the same process and that he had tried something similar remotely on his Lucario, which resulted in it transforming and becoming aggressive.

He assured them that he hasn't actually managed to create a real Pokémon yet, and so the situation seemed to be resolved, but there was still the mystery of the aggressive Pokémon that had attacked Lucario's pack. Later on, there was another attack, this time by a shadowy Pokémon that resembled a Giratina. It was melting and looked deformed. Somehow, it had escaped from the computer on it's own and had also turned aggressive like Lucario had.

That's about as far as it got before I woke up. I got the sense though that after the situation was resolved, Cynthia kept the Lucario because it wanted nothing to do with it's original trainer after everything that happened.

I once had a dream that my microwave oven was an elevator (Don't ask, I could somehow shrink down and fit in it) that led to a secret floor on my house full of Pokémon plushies. That was fun. Not sure what I went through that day for my microwave to function as an elevator though.

I've had a few dreams were in them I buy some sort of Pokémon plushie. In one dream I was on a holiday and I brought a Jolteon PokeDoll in a small gift shop. In another dream I was in a huge mall and there was a shop full of plushies. In this shop came across a giant Salamence plush and brought it.
I also had a dream a few years ago just before ORAS was released. In the dream I was checking Serebii and two new Megas had been revealed, Mega Swanna and Mega Bibarel. I can't remember what Mega Swanna looked like, but Mega Bibarel's tail vaguely looked like a chainsaw, and the fur pattern on its body made it look like it was wearing overalls.

Mega Swanna sounds like a really cool idea. That's one Pokémon that could really use a mega. I like it, but it feels like I'm one of the few people who do.

The Bibarel sounds like something from Chipper and Sons.

@Wolf Expert your dream strangely has a lot of overlap with a fanfic idea I had when I was hospitalized last summer (because what else is there to do when you're stuck in a bed for-freaking-ever and you don't like to watch TV?). And your dreams are waaay more sensible and detailed than mine.

Sometimes I dream within my current fanfic project, likely because it spends a lot of time swirling around in my brain as I try to get to sleep. All I remember by the time I wake up is seeing the figurative actors who would play my main characters in a TV adaptation, some of the more important Pokémon partners (exactly as they appear in Gen 6-7 3DS games, not quite realistic), and a setting; all of this from a third-person cameraman perspective. No dialogue sticks with me, I rarely remember sequence of events. Sometimes I'll be flooded with ideas 90 minutes after I wake up as I'm on my way to work, but rarely do I remember anything of detail right away. It makes me wonder though, maybe I subconsciously do remember the details of these storylines, and my bored brain digs them out of itself later in the day?

I wish I could have dreams about exploring and fun stuff with these exotic critters. But no, just literary TV drama set in the world of said exotic critters.

I try to keep a dream journal occasionally, but it's hard to stick with. Maybe I'll try something like that on the forum to see if it helps motivate me to keep writing it.

That dream I had last night was actually even more detailed than how I wrote it, it was just getting kind of long so I cut it short. Also my dog wanted to go for a walk so I rushed it a bit. There was an extra scene where the Ghiratina attacked one of those tram things that goes up and down mountains, which is how they found out about it. The library was especially vivid too. For some reason the curtains being purple really stuck out for me.

When I was younger I had a dream that I stole a Squirtle doll from a store (promised to come back and pay, but never got to it in the dream), then when I got home (it was apparently a school trip to the store?!) my dad revealed a Caterpie doll. Through out the dream, the Caterpie doll evolved to a Metapod doll, and then finally a Butterfree doll.

Huh, lots of people dream about Pokémon dolls apparently. That's kind of interesting.

I'm sad that I actually haven't had a Pokémon dream in a number of years now. They were more common when I was a kid/teenager.
