@ChocoChicken Shadow Ball used for a noble purpose is known as Luna Ball. Bite is considered a Spirit move for our purposes, like it used to be.
With Blacky having several elemental melee weapons in hand, I might as well repurpose his spellblades: If used on non-elemental weapons, they will gain the spell's element and the spell can be turned off anytime. If used on elemental weapons matching the spell (e.g. Tidal Edge on Aqua Dagger, a water-type weapon), it will power up said weapon a little. If used on elemental weapons that don't match the spell (e.g. Tidal Edge on Sword of Light Auras, a sol-type weapon), it will do nothing unless specified otherwise.
Anyway, random question: if Potion of Power boosts the drinker's physical attacks, what would its special variant (as in the special attack booster) be?
So in one post Wave said: Then one post later she said: Is it safe to assume that Aine will alternate between her Moon Flute and Starry Mandolin as the battle goes?
So this is what everyone's equipped with: Aine: Moon Flute, Starry Mandolin (alternating between both instruments), Crescent Pendant (assuming she's wearing it) Xuehua: Ice Staff, Fire Mini-Staff, Water Mini-Staff (alternating between the three staves) Atelier: Short Steel Sword, <whatever tome(s) he's going to use> Blacky: Sword of Light Auras @WavePearl @ChocoChicken @122 Generation did I get it right? And/or anything else?
There's also the leftover Mirror Shields in play, I suppose - assuming none of them broke during the puzzles.
Yeah, that too. I only listed the equipped stuffs -- whether anyone wanna equip the Mirror Shields is up to you guys.
@SAF Yup. And let's say he'll use the Water Tome one more time before he needs to repair it. He'll switch to another tome right after.
@WavePearl @122 Generation @ChocoChicken About that, I forgot to tell you this: if there's anything else you want to equip, just say the word.
@WavePearl @122 Generation @ChocoChicken Welp, seems like I forgot to say that everything listed in "Party Inventory" are pretty much usable by everyone. This is especially including the 10 Dazzling Opals -- feel free to use those~ Also, here's an extended version of the battle music I've included in the IC thread, straight from the composer herself.
Whew. That was quite a wild ride. I had to recalculate damage counts several times just because I was indecisive with all the shenanigans I came up with. And I was dumb, thinking that it was an offensive spellsong when it should've given the squad an attack boost. Apologies.
Random thought: I'd imagine Electric DK would use an abandoned power plant or something for his lair. Like, y'know, Zapdos' home in Kanto (Kanto Power Plant). Any better ideas?
Funny enough, I contemplated it the other day, and I was thinking of like... mountains with lightning rods on them and an ever-surrounding storm? With some tricksteriness to go with the original Fairy theme.
Those make sense too. Let's see what it's going to be when we actually get there. Anyway, here's a different question: what do the Adamant Spires and the Lost Chambers of Souls look like aside from the Dialga statue guarding the former's gateway and the fact that the latter is somewhere inside the former?
By the way, we actually haven't seen any actual monsters in a while since the goblins in the Earth lair. Just a thought. If we're going all Pokémon from this point on, we can retcon and make them Swadloons/Impidimp?
That, and how about the mimics? Should we pull a Voltorb/Foongus for that? I did plan for goblins and mimics to appear in some of Moon DK's monster houses tho. That, and Lycanroc too, which I personally think as the closest thing to werewolves.
