    Just from the archives that got blipped out, the changes I'd made to Xuehua + retconned stuff:
    - She now comes from Spikeford rather than Kickenham, under the domain of the Shadow King rather than Sol. (She was still originally supposed to be an Espeon before her runaway.)
    - Xuehua grew up in an environment composed of avid followers the Shadow Dragon King, which skewed her perception of general public opinion on the tyrants.

    These edits will also carry over to the original signup, which I will be editing now.

    If y'all excuse me, lemme just dump some random thoughts about the upcoming Dragon Kings' lairs here:
    • We can use either Wave's or Choco's ideas for the lair's design (or even better, mix them both).
    • Voltorb line (either Kantonian or Hisuian) as mimics.
    • Icy mountain? Tundra?
    • Snover and/or Abomasnow disguising as random trees (a la Sudowoodo but in the snowy area).
    • Galarian Darmanitan posing as snowmen that can go Zen Mode when interacted with.
    • Ditto as mimics, though they might gonna shiver from the cold.
    • Xuehua's former mentor(s) as enemies (though whether they're gonna recognize her is up to Choco) considering her backstory.
    • Zorua line (either Unovan or Hisuian) disguising as other inhabitants of the lair (mostly shadow-types) to mess with intruders.
    • Unlike other towns/cities/villages/whatever, Spikeford townsfolk's reactions to the DK's downfall will vary. True followers of Shadow DK will rage in fury, while those who only "support" him due to societal pressure will celebrate it. This, in turn, will cause Spikeford to devolve into chaos and our heroes will have to evacuate ASAP.
    • Blacky's master as a one-time ally (like Angus the Lanturn in the Water DK arc) considering his backstory.
    • Two rounds of boss battle: first round with ???/??? and second round with a definite number for the Dragon King's HP. The cutoff between these two rounds will be either the death of Blacky's master or (if it's too dark for this RP) a certain gimmick of Sol DK's.

    Hahaha, I think I've talked with you about that one before?
    I've definitely imagined it a couple times - Xuehua is pretty clear in my head, obviously. Though the rest of the cast is a bit harder to picture - would human Aine have curly hair? What kind of foreign country would Atelier be from and how would that influence his style?
    I'm looking forward to your interpretation?

    I see Aine with wavy pink hair and Sylveon ribbons. As a modern day human, she'd play an acoustic guitar (something like this one, if you need some ideas)

    Clothing-wise, some 80's inspired T shirt (something like this) or a pink version of Lisia's costume if you see her as a pop idol.

    Fun fact: Atelier is the name of my avatar in Fire Emblem Awakening and he is the direct inspiration for the Atelier in this RP. Tome, foreign robes, and tactician and all.

    So I basically imagine a gray-haired Robin as gijinka Atelier.

    Hol' up, I think I need a reminder when we talked about that...

    A female version of BW's Musician sprite, eh? I'll see what I can do. And iirc Aine is shiny, so I'm using shiny Sylveon's colors instead of regular one's.

    Gotta google that as well...

    Anywho, I've already made my own takes on Aine and Atelier. But since we've been imagining different things, I'll throw the finished ones in my Deviantart account as soon as I get my laptop on.
