And here I am, raising an eyebrow at the "eerily quiet" part because I'd imagine the sniper and mage squads would still be outside. The closed shops part still makes sense tho. Also, I'm sorry Wave, but is the barrier supposed to be permanent? Just wondering.
@SAF The barrier would need to take a LOT of damage before being broken--so no matter how hard or how long it gets attacked, it'll hold.
Hey, question about the scene - should the group generally be together at this point, or is it considered more "downtime" esque? If it's the former, I'll keep Xuehua with the group to watch over Atelier, but if it's the latter I might have her chase Rika down due to suspicion.
At this point I've planned for the gang to move to Coco's house -- well, her and Blacky's childhood home prior to their adoption -- and rest there. However, feel free to have Xuehua chase Rika down if you so desire.
If that's the case, then feel free to carry Atelier along and get him a proper bed Rika's just too stubborn to stick around.
@WavePearl @ChocoChicken @122 Generation Say, should I give y'all a preview of the Sol DK's underlings -- at least some of them? Or would it be OOC for the Dragon King himself?
It's your call. I don't mind mystery, quite enjoy it really, but revealing it early could also allow for early strategizing and planning on how things play out. Depends on how you'd like to run it.
Ack, am I way overdue for Aine's prompt? If yes, sorry! One question though, is Aine still with Blacky in the warrior's hall with you talking about Swirlix's crate of apples? Or is Aine already outside while I'm having a writing block? I need to make sure either way.
@WavePearl @ChocoChicken I’m assuming that Aine is not together with Xuehua and Rika, correct? It wouldn’t make sense if Rika supposedly went out by herself and secretly followed by Xuehua who was secretly followed by Aine. And Aine doesn’t even know who Rika is. Sounds like a spy comedy, were that so.
I mean, Xuehua and Rika spent the last few messages leaving the warriors' armory, which is where Aine is. They've headed in the same direction (away) for a while now. So if Aine didn't follow them, physically she wouldn't be there or know that that's going on. Since Xuehua already reacted to Aine's presence, though, now that the scene's been set already, I suppose you could say someone else called her away earlier whilst she was with Blacky and Coco to ask her to help, or she also left and managed to reach the station before Xuehua and Rika did, being that Rika's a ghost that maybe slowly hovers and Xuehua was sneaking. Otherwise, we could backtrack and remove that.
Aight, gimme a mo to cook a post... Edit: Done posting, I just threw some new NPCs in along with a previously established one.
@SAF @WavePearl @ChocoChicken Now I'm thinking this will become a style like the game Overcooked - a minigame within the roleplay where the heroes need to survive the volume of orders coming in.
Actually, I'm thinking of it more like the that one minigame from Kirby and the Forgotten Land (can't remember the name) where you serve Waddle Dees their meals at a food stall. Maybe that one's too simplified for our scene? @WavePearl @ChocoChicken @122 Generation Also, gimme a holler when the lunchtime is over IC, aight? I have another scene lined up here.
