Are there certain Pokémon that you would prefer they be male over female, or the opposite?
I've always preferred to have my Flygons females, along with Togepis and Tyranitars.
I usually have a male Ralts, so I can have Gallade later on. And of course a female Snorunt, so I can get a Froslass c:
i really like using Gallade and Froslass together. I dunno why. They're just a fun duo in-game.

Aside from the ones that need to be a certain gender to evolve into a certain Pokémon (that stupid Combee..), my only preference is male with Heracross, because the horn-spike shape differs depending on gender. I prefer the male's spikier one.

I prefer most of my Pokémon to be male. Pokémon like Tyranitar, Salamence, Gyarados, Machamp, they just seem more intimidating as males, however, I could live with using some females such as Dragonite or Togekiss.

I don't care too much, but I prefer having Pokémon like Pikachu and Heracross as males due to their spikier tails/horns. It kind of annoys me how they made the girl forms with a heart-ish shape.

What's up with the hearts, man? It's lame.

I always think of all the fighting Pokémon [even Hitmonchan] as male. Machop, Machoke and Machamp are just awkward as females. Hitmontop isn't as bad, but I still think of it as a male. Same thing goes for Hitmonchan, even in that little skirt it still seems male to me. xD

Arbok and Ekans I always think of as female. Same thing with Vulpix and Ninetales.

If I get something like a male Espeon or Loppuny, I pretty much refuse to use it. These Pokémon are supposed to be female :U
And yeah, female Machamp is kinda creepy....Machop and Machoke aren't too bad it's just Machamp e.o

Somehow it slipped my mind before, but Unfezant is another one. The female one is really bland looking compared to the male. It looks like they literally just took an image of a pheasant and made a sprite out of it. The male one is much more unique in design.

Pokémon is full of stereotypes, like pink Pokémon and hearts. The only black people in B/W 2 are baseball players, dancers and a movie assistant. (Not so much of a stereotype)

There's Marshall too but he's like super strong so that could be considered a stereotype. Don't forget he uses fighting types.

Pokémon gender has never really mattered to me unless the gender changes their appearance. I remember in BW2 I used a female Jellicent because I preferred it over the male :) But unless theres no physical appearance change, the gender of the Pokémon doesn't matter much to me.

Now that you mention it, all of the scientist NPCs (Pokémon professors excluded) look Asian. Hmmm.

It really doesn't matter what gender the Pokémon is. Sure, it's kinda awkward to have a male Lopunny or a female Machoke or such, but I love them just as they are, especially if they prove to be valuable teammates.

I really don't care if the Pokémon that I use is male or female?

i know they did this because a lot of times a male bird has much brighter colors and plumage than females, such as turkeys, peacocks, and phesants! so i actually enjoyed this gender difference. it's more realistic.

I usually like my starters to be female, since those are harder to get. As for others, I usually don't care what gender they are- although it is quite amusing to have things like a male Lopunny or Gardevoir and a female Mr. Mime or Machamp on a team.
