Azelia attepmpted a Draining Kiss.

 

Crikey, this thing is huge, Maria thought. She took up the Alpha Style, in which she had a balance between offence and defence, and went for a strike.

Kirito will have to wait, Evergreen thought. She readied a series of Magical Leaves and fired away. [Release the angel!] she demanded.

 

"Wow, I feel stronger already!" Maria said. She continued with the Alpha Style and went for another strike. Evergreen, who was trying to keep her distance, fired a Disarming Voice instead.

 

Seline looked over. "Maria, you doing ok?" She used Light, watching the rest of the group.
Azelia teamed up with Evergreen, using Fairy Wind.

 

After recoiling from the missed strike, Maria regrouped beside Seline. "I'm doing okay. None of us are harmed, yet! How about you?"

The success of the Disarming Voice brought a small smile to Evergreen, as she fell back to prepare another attack. This was easier than she thought, but she couldn't be too sure, could she? The Ariados Queen looked on the verge of attacking though. While Maria finally lunged forward for a strike, Evergreen pleaded, [We don't want to hurt you! We can resolve this, peacefully!] Even so, if the Ariados Queen didn't listen, she would have to fire another round of Magical Leaves she had at the ready.

 

"That Ariados can Poison, luckily the Elven troops managed to heal me before I had to use a Antidote or a Heal on myself." Seline prepared another Light attack.
Azelia tried a Struggle Bug attack, knowing it wouldn't..probably..do much but she was just..curious. [..Why did it have to be a Ariados out of all Pokémon..?] She shuddered, remembering her past horrors with Ariados.

 

"We have to help out!" Kiseki said, taking out her harp in order to play the Mystic Melody.

[Ariados Queen, here I come!] Chieri squaled, preparing to use the move Moonblast.

 

[You seem really optimistic, Chieri!] Evergreen said. She couldn't help but sweatdrop.

Even Maria had to pause at Kiseki's intervention, but continued with her attempted attack afterward.

 

"At least I could power her up" he chuckled. Trying to struggle to break free

 

Seline used Light again, Azelia going for Fairy Wind.

 

Now that Maria thought of it, she could try out one of those sapphires she had in her bag. Though she had no experience with magic, it was worth a shot. She took one out of her satchel and threw it at the Ariados Queen. "Water Pulse!" she said, hoping it would work.

[She is tough!] Evergreen said. She fired another Magical Leaf for good measure. [Hey, can you hear me? Let the angel go, and no one gets hurt!]

 

Seline cast another Light attack, watching Maria's Sapphire.
Azelia used Draining Kiss, although her fears of Ariados was starting to show.
