Maria's eyes followed the Fletchling. "Oh? Is there something she has to say to us?" While Evergreen was still holding Kirito at bay, she added, Now if only Leon sent us a reply too.
"Okay..." Ash accepted the envelope from the Fletchling, gave it a gold coin as payment, and took the paper from inside. "Greetings everyone. I am well, and hope that your adventure is going well." he began.
Evergreen's curiosity got the better of her and she released Kirito from her grip. She was also curious to know what Lillie had sent to the party. Maria had put away her candy bag to also listen too.
@122 Generation (giving the basic summary of the letter, since Lillie can get a little wordy) Lillie talked about how the children of Argenta were doing, and that they terribly missed Brock. She also talked about interesting things that had happened while she taught, and that it was a good idea to befriend the elves.
(letting you guys know that I may not be able to post this Saturday/Sunday) Seline listened, smiling at the fact that Lady Lilly was alright.
"Lillie. She should be here with us. Not some stupid library" kirito said. Feeling the power that hold him back disappeard
"Well, if she's fine, that's good enough for me, at least." Kiseki said, finally popping out after being silent for a few hours.
"As much as it would be nice for Lillie to be with us, traveling with us would put her in very real danger." Brock cautioned. "So it's probably for the best that she remain somewhere safe." Misty meanwhile, was checking the tournament schedule--there were several new events going on, as well as her next round of competition.
"I can protect her. I wont expect anything from the wimps behind" he gave a small glance ro his wand. In Brock hands but didnt grab it
The fourth day of the tournament featured the third round of the melee duels, and some new events. The next rounds of the other events would happen on the fifth day.
Evergreen was resting peacefully in her respective Heart charm while Maria still slept as the morning dawned. While Maria was stress-free, Evegreen had partly exhausted her energy keeping Kirito at bay the day before, so she needed to recover.
@122 Generation Even though the third round of the minstrel's competition wasn't until the next day, Serena was still tuning up for another day of performing. Even so, she was confident in her skill, and hoped that she would be good enough to reach the next round. Getting to the semis or even the finals, would be even sweeter.
Maria, by then, had woken up and put on her oversized cloak with her hood on top. Yup, it made her look very ridiculous. She had grabbed her sheath and satchel before heading over to the lobby for breakfast. Evergreen was sent out shortly after, who looked just as sleepy as Maria. More pies were in order.
Ash was already up, studying his next round of opponents for the archery contest. Brock was busy regaling some of the local children with a story, and Misty was studying the map of Chiron, searching for the best route to the forest of memories
"Good morning, Evergreen..." Maria yawned. She drowsily ate her pie while Evergreen went to take a seat beside her and order a pie for herself. I wonder what's going on today? Evergreen asked. "More tournament, I bet," Maria said.
Kiseki has just recently woken up, eyes sore and her body still tired. Chieri followed shortly after, shrieking for a bit. "Good morning Chieri." Kiseki tiredly said, yawning. [And a good morning to you too!] Chieri shrieked once more, wide awake. "We should start getting some breakfast... at least, before I drop again." Kiseki was unable to stop herself from yawning multiple times, and almost fell back in her bed, had it not been for Chieri. [Oh no you don't!] However, Chieri's soft, fluffy wings caused Kiseki to fall asleep once more, instead of waking up. [Oh, am I really that fluffy that people fall asleep on me?]
