1x1 Pokemon: Jewels of the Aether - On the Run (Tala x 1:22)

Maria giggled a little. "It's not really a cure. It just helps settling your stomach. In our case, Evergreen hates going on ships and her stomach can't handle the sea."

Soon enough, Evergreen sat down on the deck, too seasick to care about anything.

 

"She has a point." Leon agreed.

"Alright, you sure don't want to, Evergreen? Going once...? Going twice...?" Maria added.

Ugh. Fine, fine. Evergreen tried getting on her feet.

 

I'm freaked out already, and riding on a Gyarados no less! But Evergreen looked like she wouldn't have any more of the ship and then jumped off, after leaving her hat with Maria.

But she fell in the water.

[Help!] she cried.

"She can't swim!" Maria warned.

 

Evergreen was clearly in a state of panic and would have been breathing water, had not Michelle and Spencer helped her out.

"Evergreen will be fine." Leon assured his younger cousin. "I can tell they have plenty of experience with swimming."

 

Evergreen spit out a burst of water from her mouth, followed by a lot of coughing.

"Thanks, Michelle!" Maria waved at her. "You definitely saved her this time."

"Michelle. Don't you worry you'll catch a cold? Your clothes are soaked." Leon said. "Evergreen may need to dry off too."

 

"No wonder you swim a lot, then." Leon said gratefully and he helped Evergreen back on the ship. He also removed his cloak to help her dry off.

Belle giggled. [You don't like swimming, eh, Evergreen?]

[Oh, come on.] The Gardevoir replied.

 

"I'll help you." Leon unbuttoned his dress shirt and handed it to Belle, who was worried she would fall off. Then he looked at Evergreen. "You sure you don't want to come, Evergreen? Maria's having a go."

"And I dry off quick!" Maria added.

Leon then handed his hat to Belle, who put it on her head, before getting onto Spencer with Michelle.

"Want to come too, Seline?" Maria asked. "We probably won't fall off."

Meanwhile, Evergreen was as reluctant as ever.

Evergreen smiled and hugged Seline with one hand. With the other, she held onto her stomach.

Meanwhile, Leon and Maria looked a little uneasy at first, but then Maria smiled. "I'm okay with it. What about you, Leon?" She wrapped her arms around Leon's waist.

Leon wrapped his arms around Michelle's. "Be gentle..." he muttered.

 

Leon smiled too, as he saw the Pokémon swimming beside him. He would have enjoyed it more if Maria hadn't been squeezing his waist. It seemed like his little cousin was a little frightened of being underwater.

He let go of one hand on Michelle's waist and gently patted Maria's arm.

 

"That was great to see. Thanks, Michelle." Leon said.

"I'm not used to swimming though." Maria said as she wiped the extra water off her face.
