1x1 Pokemon: Jewels of the Aether - On the Run (Tala x 1:22)

Leon held his breath, but he could feel his hands shaking. The laughter from the other mages wasn't helping either. "What does that have to do with anything?" Being addressed like this, Leon had almost questioned why he married Michelle. "You should stop tormenting her. Why shouldn't a rogue like her have forgiveness? Otherwise..." He trailed off, unable to speak, and he couldn't aim his bow properly.

 

Leon nodded. "She's right. After all we've been through, you know nothing about her. And to be honest, I know her a lot better than you ever will."

He held his bow and arrow up and slowly edged closer to where Michelle was.

Meanwhile, Maria and Seline were navigating their way through the hideout to track down Leon.

 

(And I thought there would be time for Maria and Belle to arrive... They will need to be here)

Maria and Seline heard the rumbling of a nearby battle as they navigated through this cave. Banners of the Fire Mages hung from the walls, and something told them that the rumbling was where Leon was.

"Belle, use your Sweet Scent. That might help us." Maria instructed.

 

"Is that... Falborg?" Maria said.

[Oh no! It's going to eat me!] Belle shrieked.

[You'll be fine, Belle.] Evergreen facepalmed, then she looked at Falborg. [Lead the way.]

Belle shuddered at Azelia's thought. [I'm really really worried too. If there's a lot of fire, I don't know how we'll survive it.] She followed the Pidgeot's lead along with everyone else.

Maria looked shocked upon seeing the scene before her. First, there was the baby Lugia in sight, and then it looked like everyone was going into battle. "Leon!" she cried, and then she drew out her katana. Evergreen, Seline, and Azelia followed close behind.

"Glad that you're safe..." Leon said. "And be careful."

"Is that a real Lugia, Leon?" Maria couldn't help herself.

"It certainly is, and Falborg will take care of him. In the meantime..." He held up his bow and aimed it at one of the mages.

"Right." Maria took up her stance and focused on the mages. Belle and Evergreen did the same, but Belle was worried at how much firepower the mages really had.

Leon went over to help his fallen Pokémon. Belle looked like she had been scorched badly from Maxie's magic. Maria quickly came to his defence, and so did Evergreen. Maria fished out a Vulnerary from her satchel to support Evergreen.

Maxie's Lava Plume attack had left the party scorched, but it looked like he needed to recover before attacking again. Amazingly, none of their clothes had burned, let alone Evergreen's sunhat. But it looked like Maxie had turned his attention to Michelle at this point.

"Let's use this time to recover! Quick!" Leon said urgently. "We can't let him use that attack again!"

"I've got Revival Charms, Leon..." Maria said, a little disheartened to see both Belle and Evergreen fall at the same time. "And there's still one extra mage to deal with!"
