1x1 Pokemon: Jewels of the Aether - On the Run (Tala x 1:22)

Robin looked up to Michelle with tears in his eyes, but he kept silent as he watched over Robyn.

"I think our allies will be fine," Leon said. He retained his cool, but his voice went cold. "What do you mean 'she is no use' to you? Come on, you know that Robyn is an ally. She probably means a lot to everyone too, you know."

Robyn slowly opened her eyes, but she was weak. "Robin...?" she rasped.

"Robyn! Don't die on me now! If you see a light, don't go near it! Stay with us!" Robin cried.

As it happened, another regiment of guild soldiers appeared, and it seemed like they were what was left of the fortress guards. It appeared the fortress would be overwhelmed soon, but at what cost? Soon, though, Robin realised that Robyn was trying to reach for his hand, so he held hers.

(Leon and Michelle encounter Flare Guild Sergeant and Flare Guild Soldier!)

"No! Belle!" Leon cried.

In the next minute, though, Robin scurried over to pick her up, saying, "I'll take care of her. Go finish off the raid!"

The number of failed attacks really amused Robin, on the other hand. He still was sad with both Robyn and Leon's Bellossom out cold. He checked to make sure if Robyn was still alive. Perhaps there was a chance.

As resistance members continued storming the fortress and wiping out whoever was left, Leon put away his bow and went over to see Robin and Robyn. Robyn's eyes were still closed and Robin was on the verge of tears.

"How... is she doing?" Leon asked.

"I can't tell," Robin said. "She's breathing, but I don't know for how much longer." He hugged Robyn close as if he was scared she would pass away soon.

 

Robin smiled a little and pat Ian's head, and with his other hand he kept Robyn close to him. Leon did bring out one of his Healing Balms at first, but Robin shook his head. The tears were evident on his eyes. A cold winter wind, not unknown to Flusselles, began to blow. Robin sighed deeply.

Yet Robin felt another hand touch his cheek, and quickly he looked down to see Robyn smiling as her eyes were closed. "I can still hear you, idiot," she said, before she kissed Robin's lips. Lucky for Robin that Robyn's eyes were still closed, because his reaction was priceless. Still, Robyn fell limp in Robin's arms, which alarmed him.

"NO! Robyn!" he cried.

Yet Belle and Leon, who stood nearby, could tell Robyn was snoring quietly.

 

Within a few hours, the rest of the Flare Guild were rounded up by the resistance members. The command post was continually besieged but eventually the guild soldiers had to surrender too. With the help of the oracle Olympia, the port was back under control of the Flusselles government and it seemed daily life was about to be refreshed. In other words, the people and the government were ready to take back the city. Whatever guild merchants or soldiers were left, they fled south to the town of Mosaia. But they knew they wouldn't be safe for long now that the backbones of the Flare Guild's control of eastern Kalski was lost. It seemed the appropriate gesture for the guild was to tighten their grip on what they had left. At this rate, and the guild would soon know, they would lose all of eastern Kalski. What they had left of that region was the under-construction fortress near Nouvaria and Fractalia. That was their last hope.

Meanwhile, at the cleric's home, Robin sadly watched Robyn sleep on the bunk in front of him. Leon and Michelle were sitting behind him as they watched Robin beg for Robyn to wake up.

"She'll be fine," Leon assured him.

 

"Michelle? Is something wrong?" Leon said. "What's -?"

But Leon was interrupted by Cleric Joy walking into the room. "Robin?" she said. "I understand you're deeply worried, but you need some rest too. Robyn will be fine - I keep telling you this!"

"I understand," Robin said. "Come on, just five more minutes. Okay?"

But surprisingly, Robyn seemed to have heard him and pulled him closer to her. "No... Don't leave me, Robin." This prompted both Leon and Cleric Joy to stare at the scene before them. Shockingly, Robyn sat up only to give Robin a tight hug, and that in turn made Robin blush.

 

While the Robins (or Robyns) were still hugging, Leon could sense a feeling of relief. Maybe things would turn out better soon. With enough luck, Robyn would soon be back on her feet. Even so, Leon wondered what would happen later. Surely Olympia would take of things, but the resistance and the government had to restore order onto the streets. Then again, Leon could trust Robyn, Robin, and Olympia to do so. He did stand up to check on Michelle and see how she was doing, where he found her hugging Ian.

"Okay there, Michelle?" Leon said.
