"Indeed it is..." Leon said. He and Michelle continued their walk and hoped things would be uneventful. Leon was holding Belle in his arms as the Bellossom tried her best to look away from the mud.

 

"That I do understand. I know Belle here isn't tired at all," Leon replied.

"What, so you want to talk to Michelle more? I can give you a moment," Belle squeaked.

Leon smiled and kept holding onto Belle.

 

"Indeed it does," Leon said. The mud eventually hardened into red clay, so they could have sure footing. Eventually, they managed to get to an area of green grass by the time it was afternoon.

"Oh look, I can see the seaside," Leon said. "See that, Belle?"

"Yup, I can see the small city too..." Belle squeaked. "And there's a harbour, I see."

Up ahead was the port city of Tempera. However, as peaceful as it looked, there were a few Flare Guild posts in the area. It seemed a lot like Flusselles, but had an ocean instead, and it looked peaceful.

 

It did not take long before they were in the town square of Tempera. There was a cool fish market, another SBC trading post near the harbour, a general store, a local tavern, and a way to the beach. It was afternoon, so the sun was shining brightly.

 

"Wait up," Leon said. He hurried after Michelle to the beach, where there wasn't that many people. That seemed odd for a place like this, but perhaps Yantara had better beaches. Nevertheless, he caught up to Michelle by the time Michelle had made it to the beach. The water looked clearer than that of Flusselles, and refreshing.

 

Leon followed Michelle's actions and placed Belle on the sand. How adorable Belle looked, as always. As soon as he did, he sat down beside her. "Wow, what a view, eh? If only things were always this relaxing."

 

Leon smiled just a bit. Looking at the ocean, he took out the seashell from his bag. When was the last time he had looked at this? The seashell belonged to Maria.

"I'll definitely come back. I promise," he whispered.

 

Now that Michelle was resting, Leon went ahead to undress himself. He removed his dress shirt and pants before he dived into the ocean. Such exercise was needed to keep up his athletic ability.

Belle looked at the seashell Leon had been holding and examined it too. The style of the seashell reminded her of home.

 

Belle sooner or later put the seashell back in Leon's bag before gazing at the ocean. She looked at Michelle, thinking, She sure loves the beaches. At that, she dusted the sand off Leon's hat.

Leon was still swimming.

 

"And I thought Leon was lazy," Belle squeaked disapprovingly. "You are not hat much better, buddy."

Still, she wondered if Leon had any feelings for Michelle at all. Soon enough, Leon had enough of swimming and got out of the water. Without a towel, he tried wiping off most of the water off himself.
