Here we go on our re-imagined TCG adventure!

Solitaire Island...a place where TCG enthusiasts from around the Pokeworld gather for tournaments and TCG events of all sizes. The ultimate goal in Solitaire Island is the Rainbow Stadium in Klondike City, where those that have defeated all 18 Club Masters, and obtained all 18 Master Coins can face the four TCG Grand Masters, and earn four Legendary Cards.

A group of friends arrived on Solitaire Island in hopes of journeying to Klondike City as a team, and earning the Legendary cards--Jirachi, the Prism Wish, Victini, the Star of Victory, Meloetta the Singer of Miracles, and Diancie, the Luminous Sparkle.

But what they and the many other TCG players did not know a sinister force was on the move--Team Labyrinth.

Team Labyrinth wanted to steal the Legendary cards, and use their powers for their own dark ambitions. Both players were not about to take this lying down, and so they came up with a plan to undertake a daring mission to infiltrate Labyrinth Island, storm Freecell Fortress, take down Team Labyrinth, and still finish the tournament on Solitaire Island at the same time. But Labyrinth Island more than lives up to its name, and it doesn't help the members of Team Labyrinth are always on the lookout for intruders.

Can our heroes use their own TCG skills to defeat Team Labyrinth, reach Klondike City, and earn the Legendary Cards at the same time Or will Team Labyrinth succeed in bringing Solitaire Island to its knees?

At the moment, you guys have arrived in Deuce City, where most visitors to Solitaire Island arrive, often by boat or by plane. Your first objective is to register for the grand tournament that will take you to Klondike City--and some familiar friends from across the Pokeworld wait to guide you on your adventure...

Advertisements for card shops, TCG MyTube series, podcasts and more were everywhere, including Six Spirits TV's own TCG series, "Jewels of the Cards". In the series, pro TCG players Ash, Misty, Brock, Serena, May, and Dawn explained how to play the TCG, reviewed sets, opened cards, played casual matches live on MyTube, gently poked fun at aspects of the game, broadcasted competitive matches, and even did dramatic performances that somehow worked in TCG cards into fantasy plots.

"Hi, and welcome to Prism Cards!" a boy in a red outfit and a matching bandana smiled as he put out boxes for the new Brilliant Stars set on display. "All Brilliant Stars individual packs are free as part of the release campaign!"

There were a few vacant game tables open, but at the occupied table, the game was winding down--the girl at the Sapphire side had one prize left.

(The boy that greeted you is Mark, the hero of the Game Boy TCG.

The girl winced when she saw she had one not so great card remaining in her hand. "Rotom the Power Cycler uses Cycle Draw." she told her opponent as she discarded the card, then drew two more.

The girl's opponent studied his hand. "I play Professor Cozmo's Discovery." he reported.

The referee next flipped a coin to determine which cards the boy would draw...

"If you guys have never played the TCG before, I highly recommend watching the Six Spirits' tutorial series on MyTube." Mark suggested. "You can watch the tutorials all at once, or they have it broken down into different levels. Emerald Raikou and the others try to make it fun with some magic and music.

Some upbeat music began as the title card for the introductory episode appeared: "Introduction to the TCG For Beginners."

After a few seconds, the scene faded to Brock, nee Emerald Raikou, in the colorful and roomy Six Spirits TV studio. "Hi, Emerald Raikou here for Six Spirits TV. Over the next few weeks, we'll be posting videos meant for beginners to the Pokémon TCG. Whether you have a video game..."

He snapped, conjuring a green 3DS on the table. "...a real deck of cards..."

He snapped again, conjuring a Raikou theme deck in its box. "...are looking to play online..."

"He snapped again, conjuring a laptop conveniently open to the official site for online play. "...or are just trying to follow what's going on in TCG tournaments or a TCG themed anime..."

He snapped again, conjuring a TV with the channel logo on its screen. "...we'll teach you some of the basic terminology you'll need to know, the basic anatomy of a deck and a card, the basic rules of the game, how to spot fake cards, and some basic strategies to build your first decks from scratch. If there's a specific topic you're interested in, click the i in the sky to access our beginner's playlist. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy this deep dive into the TCG in an informative and fun way." The video ended there.

The scene opened on Brock in the Six Spirits TV studio again. "Hi, Emerald Raikou here for Six Spirits TV. This is Episode 2 in our introductory series to the TCG for beginners. Before we get into explaining where to find cards, how to spot fake cards, the anatomy of a card and the playspace, and how to play, there's some terminology that will be helpful to know as you play and interact with the community. Some of these are official terms, and some of these are fan created terms or nicknames."
