@ChocoChicken @Fchicken77 @ShireHime @Jupjami @122 Generation @Tala Here we go! The city of Hakugin was abuzz with activity--Brock, the eldest son of the Keeper of the Emblem of Strength, had been marked as a fuemusou a week or two before. Brock had initially wanted to go with a few close companions, but his father insisted on taking as many douhan as possible. Brock had reluctantly agreed, and so the invitations had been sent out. The day Brock would receive his kinenfue and be blessed for the journey arrived, but the fighter and mystic that initially volunteered to go were shocked at how many had accepted the invitations. "Me, you, Misty when we reach Falan, and six others...all told, that's a party of ten people." a black haired boy in silvery fighter's garb mused. "Isn't nine douhan a bit much?" "Flint didn't want to take any chances..." the mystic mused. "We both know he loves Brock very much--and as his eldest son and first born, he doesn't want Brock to meet a terrible fate on this adventure." She rolled up the orange-yellow ribbon that complimented her red and gold robe. "But yes, that means we have to wait for the other six and Brock to get here." she sighed as she looked out over the temple courtyard and into the bustling city.
(Added a different appearance for Erios Kiseki in the signups thread! Also, this post is mainly a reference to the Jewels of Aether RP.) Kiseki had the strangest dream just before her day had started. In that mysterious setting, she saw herself wearing a blue summery outfit with an obnoxiously large ribbon at the side of her head. Instead of seeing Mina, her Audino, she was accompanied by an Altaria. She was with four other people fighting what seemed to be a demonic beast. She could never forget their appearances; one girl had reddish brown braided hair with a yellow dress together with her Ribombee, another had a yellow vest with a blue plaid skirt with a Gardevoir, and the only male wore a black polo with purple pants and gloves. Just as it seemed that they were about to defeat the beast, she was woken up by Mina, her Audino. And here she was, walking towards the city of Hakugin after receiving an invitation for a very important task; accompanying Brock as his douhan. "Do you think we can find them in that huge city?" The girl asked her Audino, gaining her a quiet reply. [Well, we can definitely hope!]
Lunti had been sleeping on a bench in the edge of Hakugin, with Bagsik sleeping beside him, when an envelope suddenly feel and hit Lunti on the head. "Where did this come from?" Lunti asked his Treecko. Bagsik just shrugged, so Lunti read the letter. "A mission? With... kuya Brock and Ash!? Awesome!" Lunti shouted excitedly. "Hurry, Bagsik! Let's go find them!" And the two disappeared into the city.
Perico slammed another fist into a training dummy, watching as it fell to pieces after withstanding the brunt of his attacks for several weeks already. Sure, he wasn't a fighter that normally used melee attacks, but it was a good way to let his anger out without hurting anyone. Standing, he looked around him to calm himself down for a minute. The weather was fine. The people seemed fine, if not a bit nervous as they passed by his home. In fact, the mail-delivery service had definitely been walking away as briskly as they could, after shoving an envelope at the doorstep. Speaking of which, he had to check that out. His darting eyes registered the handwriting and name - Brock. Chosen as Fuemosou. He continued down, and raised an eyebrow when he got to the bottom. Tucking the envelope into his pocket, he grabbed his best bow, arrows, and fingered the pendant around his neck in hopes that he wouldn't be too riled up. The blonde teenager walked out, his pace calm but steady, his gaze straight ahead, trying to ignore the looks thrown his way.
Farrah sat silently on her sofa, reading a book. Aurora, her Pidgeot companion peered from her side, trying to figure out what those words meant, although it was nearly impossible without any human education. An envelope slid under the door, but Farrah was too intrigued by the book that she didn’t notice, instead, her Pidgeot picked up the letter for her and passed it to her owner with the letter in her beak. “Oh. It’s a letter.” The pale girl said as she unfolded the envelope. “You have been chosen as one of the douhan for Brock’s journey.” The letter wrote. “Huh. I guess I’ll be on my way...” Farrah said as she opened her closet and picked out an elegant blue and white dress. She put on a small necklace and matching white shoes. Aurora was already at the door, holding two blue blades in her beak. “Thank you.” The white-haired girl said as the duo walked out of the door.
Mel hold pachi close to her as she walked through the busy market place without noticing her a letter sudden fell on her hands. She blinked and tried to get out of the people mass. She sat pachi down and looked at the letter. Mel was a perfect reader and understood thw word brock. "Pachi..maybe he can be daddy for us" she said happuly. Then pachirisu jumped up excitdly into her arms. "Lets fo pachi"
@ChocoChicken @Fchicken77 @ShireHime @Jupjami @122 Generation @Tala The city was already bustling with activity, as many others were headed to the temple to get a glimpse of the Emblem Keeper's son or his douhan. There were plenty of opportunistic merchants present as well, hawking food or cheap trinkets for souvenirs. But out of all the people, the one with the heaviest heart was Brock. He had only been playing a kinenfue for a little more than two years, and even then to help in his meditation sessions. But to be marked as a fuemusou? That was the highest honor a kinenfue performer could get. It didn't help that he was the first in his large family to be marked. Why did Dad insist I go with a lot of douhan? he sighed as he gathered up his supplies and his bow for the long journey. I only wanted to make the trip with Ash, Misty, and Serena...
(@ShireHime I see what you did there! Though Maria's shirt is white, not yellow, unless that was intentional?) In a field just outside Hakugin, a portal had randomly opened up in the sky. A certain young girl and her Gardevoir, Evergreen, then emerged from the portal and were shot out of the portal to the ground below. This girl was Maria Lougheed, one of the four Heroes of the Realm of Kanduin. She wore a white top, with a blue bow, and a blue plaid skirt to match, along with her boots - but all of that was under an oversized cloak. Unfortunately, the landing was not friendly, and by the time Maria and Evergreen had hit the ground, they were knocked out unconscious. (I have added Maria's appearance on her profile)
Mel looked around. "Where is it" she looked around. Pachu sudden jumped up and ran off. "Pachi come back" she called and ran behind the Pokémon. Eventually she stood still. "Pachi we are out the town." She panted. "Pachi. Pachirisu" she called pointing at two people. Or more 1 girl and 1 Pokémon. Mel slowly walked up. "Are they okay?" She poked on of the cheek. Pachi did the same
It wasn't long before the temple came into sight. Perico slowed his pace, looking around him - better to know who the other douhan were before having to go on a giant adventure and everything with them. Part of him argued that he should check out Brock first, but at least he knew a little bit about that guy. Leaning against a wall, he checked the crowd to see if there was anyone of interest who could possibly be one of his soon-to-be companions.
Despite the efforts of the magenta-haired girl and her Pachirisu, Maria was unable to regain consciousness, neither was the Gardevoir. At least, they were still breathing.
Farrah walked around the giant city with her Pidgeot following closely behind. The long-haired girl was able to see a temple in the distance, causing Aurora to squawk. "Yes, I can see it. I'm not blind." She said in a passive-aggressive tone. As the duo began to walk farther, Farrah was able to spot a young boy leaning against the wall, scanning his surroundings.
(@122 Generation I think I forgot to mention her shirt; last time I saw she was wearing a cream vest too, or am I mistaken?) Kiseki motioned Mina to go further into the city, wandering about as she tried to look for the temple that they were supposed to be at. When she arrived, she was amazed at how outstanding it was; she has definitely seen a fair share of temples, but Kiseki knew that they didn't compare to the one she saw right now. "Incredible," she gasped, looking at the temple.
@ChocoChicken @Fchicken77 @ShireHime @Jupjami @122 Generation @Tala The temple was indeed an awe inspiring sight to see. In addition to its flower flecked archways, its crystalline spires rose majestically into the sky. Ash and Serena noticed more people beginning to arrive on the square, and even more spectators. "Hi!" Ash smiled at some of the travelers. "Are you coming with us on this journey too?" "If they are some of the douhan, I'm worried Brock will be late..." Serena worried. "Relax--Brock is not the type to be late." Ash assured his friend. "He's usually there on time, or a few minutes before. If he is late at all, he will let all parties know."
Mel started to panic. "No what to do qhat to do" as she ran around..pachi did the same and sudden gave a thundershock. Shocking Mel and anyon3 who got close
(@ShireHime I suppose it must be because of the lighting that her shirt looks cream-coloured, but I don't think it's a vest) (Oh and by the way, I think Maria and Evergreen need help)
@122 Generation (would it be too overpowered for the high priestess to find them and revive them? She'd be on her way to meet Brock, Ash, Serena, and the others)
@122 Generation Just then, the high priestess spotted the girl and a Gardevoir in the grass. Their clothing didn't look like anything she knew, but they looked injured. She tried feeling for a pulse--and luckily, there were two pulses. After casting a spell to stabilize them both, she started the walk back to the temple. Granted, she didn't have far to go, and she could bypass the crowd waiting for her.
"Heyyy. " Mel ran behind the priestess. With the pachirisu behind her. "Who you are. " she jumped up and down. "Where arw you taking them??"
