Maria's eyes looked from Peri to Mel again. Then she looked at Evergreen. Does... anyone know where the Black Rose might be? Or where Eternatus could be summoned? Or... where the Twin Wolf Kings are? Evergreen hoped that some thoughts might get back to her without suspicion.
@122 Generation Like before, answers came to Evergreen's appeal, although not as many as before. Some worried that the Black Rose could summon Eternatus as the height of the tournament, while others believed he was biding his time. As for where the Twin Wolf Kings were, no one knew for sure.
It was easier for Evergreen to take in the answers and it didn't hurt her head, since they didn't come rushing in and were easier to focus on. The revelation that it was possible Eternatus could be summoned amid the tournament caused Evergreen's eyes to widen. "So could the Black Rose be here in Arania? Or summon Eternatus elsewhere?" Maria said. "We could start looking around while the tournament is going on." We might have to explore for the means to find the Twin Wolf Kings too. Evergreen then helped herself to more tea.
@122 Generation "If you have some time to kill in between rounds, let's explore, investigate...and if there is danger, warn innocents and prepare to meet this villain in battle." Brock went on. He could channel his inner actor when he wanted to.
Mel had stopped payinf attention to the other as she was playing with pachi. Eventually they ran off to play some tag
I can look around for clues, Evergreen offered. Maria can compete while I'm at it. Should we run with that? No one here knows where the Twin Wolf Kings are, so we can start from there too.
@Tala Is Eternal @122 Generation @ChocoChicken (are we ready to move on to the first day of the tournament?)
@Tala Is Eternal @122 Generation @ChocoChicken The first day of the turnament dawned warm and sunny. Not surprisingly, people had come from far and wide to watch the various competitions. The royal knights kept a watchful eye on it all, making sure that no one tried to cause any trouble, and that all the wagers were fair.
Pachi and Mel were for the first time ever up early. They raced around and kept on saying "We are winning."
Peri rose to Mel's chanting - everything that had happened the day before had kept him up listing out the possibilities. So far, most of them had lead to dead ends or questions yet unanswered, eventually just leading him to pass out. He supposed the day of the tournaments had come, and they were no closer. He'd have to keep an eye on the crowd to see if anyone important would reveal themself.
@Tala Is Eternal @122 Generation @ChocoChicken Brock yawned as he woke up. He had stayed up late preparing for the prayerflute competition, which was not until the evening.
Like Peri, Evergreen and Maria had come up with no leads the day before. Perhaps during or after the tournament, something might come up. Now the two of them had woken up, with Maria preparing for her sparring competition. Evergreen would look around for more clues while the tournament was going on.
Eventually mel and pachi were sat down by the inn lady to get some breakfast afte4 1 or 2 complaints from other guests
@ChocoChicken @122 Generation @Tala Is Eternal Even though he had practiced as much as he could, Brock felt he was prepared to do well in his competition. He knew his piece well, and the effects it had.
Maria and Evergreen arrived to get some breakfast, and in time to see Mel and Pachi get seated too. Competition day has arrived, Evergreen said. "It feels like old times already," Maria added, who helped herself to some tea.
