Group RP Pokemon Legends: The Phoenix and the Demon Emperor (IC thread)

(So the second group keeps it to themselves? Or is it shared after? And what sorts of tools and weapons? I'll have to update my OOC inventory later)

Makoto and Kotone too took their rewards.

 

(Oookay, lemme get this straight. For the kappa quest, everyone got 500 sen for each person plus tools of our choices, right? Or are the tools predetermined?)

 

(So between the four, not counting Mio, that's 2,500 sen each. 2,000 if Mio is included. Then it's 500 more to Kotone and Hideki each? Or 500 more to the others too? I've already picked out what tools Kotone chose)

 

(Actually, my first thought was 5,000 sen each for the heirloom gang (Makoto and Kaede) and 500 sen plus items for the kappa gang (Kotone, Hideki, and Mio). And that's because the 10,000 sen from the heirloom quest was split evenly for everyone involved.)

 

(We can run with that too. My first thought was that the money would be pooled and then split evenly. But we can split 5,000 sen to Makoto and Kaede, and the rest as you suggest)

Now that the group was done in the adventurer's guild, Hideki rushed to the inn he had spent the night before. All while hoping they had a spare room for Kaede to sleep in. Otherwise, he had to put her in one of the girls' rooms there.

 

Long story short, Hideki managed to get one of the spare rooms for Kaede. He carefully laid her sleeping body on the bed, then sat on a nearby chair and started to have a look at the quests' rewards.

Well then, what do we have here...?

Money aside, the "supplies" Hideki had gotten turned out to be a knife for out-of-combat needs, a lockpick, a lantern, and a lavender-scented soap. "Eh, looks nice," he mused. The blonde young man then put 5000 sen into Kaede's money bag and took the items and remaining 500 sen for himself before leaving the room to grab a mocktail (as in non-alcoholic cocktail).

 

Meanwhile, Makoto had more or less fallen asleep on the way to the inn and it was up to Kotone to carry him to his room. After she had gently put him to bed, she went to review the rewards she got from the previous quest. At first, Kotone was annoyed that Makoto ended up with a lot more sen than she did, albeit Kotone did receive some extra camping supplies that might prove useful for extended outings. There was even a cooking pot! After she had tidied up the bags, she went to get an evening snack and some tea.

Belle followed her around.

Both Kaede and Hideki could be seen having breakfast: rice bowl with stir-fried veggies and boiled egg. They also had a glass of Pecha-flavored milk and a cup of lemon tea, respectively, to complement their breakfast. All while Kaede was wondering how she even got that additional 5000 sen in her money bag.

"That's your reward, duh. For taking that sword back," Hideki nonchalantly commented when Kaede voiced her concern. Hadn't he known Kaede's situation, he would've laughed it off. "Told ya, that's one way to earn cash," he added, to which the younger girl awkwardly nodded.

 

Kotone and Belle were up as well ("Good morning, everyone!" Kotone announced to everyone who was having breakfast). For her, she had an enormous crepe stuffed with meat, herbs, and sauce, all rolled up together. She also had a cup of malt and milk, which was tasty as it was nutritious. The size of the wrap would have caused people to stare at it, although others would be surprised at how quickly Kotone could eat it. At the same time, Kotone eyed Kaede and Hideki eating together. They looked like they were enjoying each other's company.

Belle had taken a spot where she could get sunshine, and had a bowl of water to take it with. And as usual, Makoto had woken up last, having entered breakfast with a yawn.

 

As usual, Kotone's cheery attitude drew everyone's attention, including Kaede and Hideki. Thankfully though, no choking fiasco happened this time. "Yo," Hideki gave Kotone a slightly camp wave. "That's really one huge crepe, aight," Kaede innocently commented on Kotone's breakfast.
