Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Quarantine (Reality Show Fanfic)

Well... I suppose this is a good chance for me to show off a fanfiction I am writing. It is kind of like Total Drama, except with Pokémon. It kind of started after watching Total Drama Pahkitew Island and thinking that I could design better and more believable characters and a better overall story. At first I felt like I was doing that, but now... now I feel like I'm running out of ideas. Still, I try my hardest to think of good ideas in the story. ...Yes, I also go by the name Lasirus there. I'm also a Subeta fan, and my favorite character from Subeta happens to be Lasirus. I adore that little guy, and he kind of started a bat obsession for me.

Right now I have nine characters left and I'm not sure what to do with them. I want to keep some of the unlikeable characters around to keep the story interesting, but I'm not sure who I want to make the two possible winners. Like Total Drama, I will have two alternate endings where one of two characters could win. But right now I have four characters I want to take to the final two, and am not sure which two to take. I don't want to just bring the characters I like the most, because it feels a bit biased to do so.

I really do like writing parts with Muffy in them for some reason. Maybe because I relate to her wanting to stand up to bullying and I also enjoy her habit of talking in third person. Still, not sure I want her to actually win. I want the winner to make sense.

 

New chapter uploaded and should be available soon. ...This time I got rid of a character I felt overstayed his welcome, and I just ran out of uses for him. Also, I took a chance and made a chapter that had more action than story, but I tried to fit in character interaction when I could.

Also in the story, a new possible relationship brewing, a rivalry with a burning fire, and... I am starting to feel like I'm using Muffy too much, at least at the start of the story. ...Also if you hadn't guessed "Wrenchers" is a spoof of the musical Grease. ...You know, because Drenig's a greaser? Of course he'd be into those kind of movies. Also the scene with him and Aria singing together, I can just imagine that being cute.

Anyway, the next chapter should be up soon. Right now I am trying to figure out who I want to actually win, and I have three different candidates. I'm not saying who they are, so I guess time will tell.

Also, I am planning on having a contest after I finish the story, but I'm worried about it. I'm worried that if I ban certain Pokémon from being drawn, no one will enter, but I'm worried if I DON'T, then that's all I get for contest entries. For example, I plan on disallowing Vulpix, Eevee, Lucario, Absol, and generally the ones that I see not just most often, but are usually the ONLY Pokémon I ever see in RPs. But again, I'm worried if I ban them, no one will join.

In addition, I plan on redrawing the characters I have on FurAffinity. Most of them came out a bit bad. Muffy, Drenig and Jet for example look pretty bad. Drenig's SUPPOSED to be above average weight for his species, but it doesn't show in his drawing. Muffy's arm is seriously messed up, and Jet has very poor anatomy too. ...Of course I am not looking forward to drawing Jet because I really REALLY dislike the Greninja line.

Should be a new chapter... once again not that anyone cares.

I know I said the contestants would be treated to videos of their family, but I changed it to how Survivor does it.

 

If I don't say something like "Not that anyone cares," then no one comments. I do a lot of things online, but it almost always goes ignored unless it angers someone. For once I'd just like to be... reccognized for something.

Anyway, new chapter released yesterday, forgot to update the Lake Valor topic. Also still considering the contest. I wonder who I could get to join.

Anyway, chapter 18, AKA the finale should be up soon. At first I wanted to end it like a Total Drama finale, but instead I decided to do something rather different. I hope you like the ending I decided to go with.
