Have you every heard a tale? A Tale about a hero that saves the world? Well, i'm here to tell you that those stories do have some truth in them, even if their not completely true. I have a story. A story that is about a boy, a special boy.

This story is about that boy and how he saved the world not once, but twice. How he saved the new life he cherished so much and was unwilling to give up. But most of all, this is a story about how that boy met someone, someone he was willing to throw away the world to protect.

    This is my story.

    Bright...

My eyes fluttered as the light burned through my eyelids, but they remained closed. I shivered as I felt the sun's rays warming my skin, but a sudden jolt of pain in my abdomen brought me away from the warm feeling of having the sun on my skin. I slowly curled in on myself as I hugged my aching abdomen. Man did it hurt.

Anyways. While I hugged my abdomen, I felt a sudden rush of dizziness over come me and my head started to pound. I let out a half groan as I tried to force myself to stay awake, but I just couldn't. As I fell back into the black void of sleep, I got the strange feeling that someone was forcing me back into the realm of unconsciousness and then the world turned dark.

The next time I woke up and really opened eyes, the first thing I saw was the face of a worried looking Eevee. I blinked and stared for a moment, unsure of what I should make of the situation. After a silent minute between us, I jumped up from my spot on -- sand? -- and my forehead connected with something. I shut my eyes tight as I leaned back on my bottom. The throbbing in my head got worse and I felt the burning sensation of tears in my eyes but forced them back.

When I fell back on my butt, I heard someone yelp in pain and then a few sniffles a moment later. I squeezed my eyes tighter together against the pain, but the sound of the pain stricken sniffles forced my eyes open. The Eevee sat with it's back to me, but I could tell that it was rubbing it's head right where my own skull had connected with it's. I frowned, because as I watched the sniffling Eevee, all the pain in my own body no longer matter. Being as careful as I could, I took a tentative step closer to the crying normal type.

"Hey. Are....are you ok?" I asked as I reached out a hand toward the Eevee. I froze. What had reached out to comfort the crying Eevee wasn't what I was expecting. What I was expecting was a pale human hand, but instead I got a sky blue paw with a golden band around the wrist. Before I looked at the out stretched paw, I noticed that the Eevee had turned to look at me from over it's shoulder. At least I had gotten it's attention.

Slowly, I pulled the paw toward my body and stared at it with wide, shock filled eyes. "Wh-what...," my voice cut off when I noticed the looked on the Eevee's face. It's face had a look of anger, pain and obvious wonder. I couldn't help but stare at the normal type, but I had bigger problems. Shaking my head, I turned and ran toward the water. How did I get here? I questioned as I reached the water's edged. I gasped.
