    Character Tryouts:
    http://lakevalor.net...zone-cast-list/

    Rules:
    1. Please post in the character tryouts prior to posting here. OOC (Out of Character) posts will be reported for interruption of an ongoing project!
    2. Profanity is NOT allowed! You may use substitutions, but no direct bad mouthing.
    3. Editing of posts for any reason other than corrections isn't permitted. If you made a serious mistake, PM a Mod, but that's only if it's something personal or extremely disruptive.
    4. Post seriously: I don't want to hear joke posts or dumb posts, these will be reported and run the risk of being removed.
    5. If your character dies in combat or you kill them off, you get two emergency pick-me-ups, keep in mind losing in a dungeon is FAINTING not DYING!
    6. You will be assigned an animated icon if you are approved, which served as a status icon. [IMG] It is REQUIRED!!! It will be an animated picture of your character with an action based on the current action in the story, this is like your ID and enables you to talk as your in game character. Only use it if it's from Dropbox, this is to ensure it can be updated automatically as need be. If you saved and uploaded your icon elsewhere, it is void.
    7. This topic is based on pictures in a few cases, So I ask mods do NOT spoiler the character icons or any story elements, as RPers need this to be Clear and Visible to get the full experience! If you have a problem, please contact me and we'll talk, but don't just get spoiler happy. I will adjust as needed if I can, but do not expect everything in spoilers, or anything if we can avoid the need.
    8. Rules may be added at any time to deal with problems as they arise. If you have suggestions, PM me.

    Templates and Stats: READ BEFORE POSTING, and use as directed!
    (Please Center everything in character!)

    "Where... where am I? Ugh... My head..." <You's character's spoken lines, you may voice NPCs if they are relevant to your character and you keep them clearly separate.

    {The poor confused girl appears to be unaware of her transformation, only wandering about the dungeon} <actions, anything that is not spoken and describes what's happen to your character (s) or observations, descriptions, or reactions to the setting, or anything of that sort.

    Please note: you can use the quotes and actions in ANY situation, even dungeons. This will allow interaction in the dungeons, as well.

    Out of dungeon Stats:
    [IMG][P$0][Pouch:No items][Rank: F][Mood: Mellow]

    [P$0] <Poke, the main currency you get, you can spend it on items or services in towns and in dungeon shops.

    [Pouch:No items] <Your item pouch, unlimited Size, items you get are listed in order of obtaining them, and how many of that item are grouped like so: Item name(X1) or however many you have in the parenthesis after the X.

    [Rank: F] <Team rank, it will go up the more good you do, the higher your rank the better your chance of recruiting new Pokémon Inside dungeons and getting more services and purchase choices outside of dungeons.

    [Mood: Mellow] <Your current mood, it's up to you what you put here, but make it relevant to whatever mood your character is feeling at the time.

    Dungeon Entering/Floor Status:
    [IMG]

    Is now Entering: Mellow Meadow (5 Floors)
    Mellow Meadow
    -F1-

    Is now Entering: Mellow Meadow (5 Floors) <Who is entering the dungeon on the team (or current group, icons only. Only the game master can set this, this is to ensure the game does not stray far from the real dungeons unless approved.) What dungeon they are entering, and the total number of floors.

    Mellow Meadow <Dungeon name

    -F1- <F1/BF1 means floor 1 or basement floor 1, depending if the dungeon goes up or down, and the number you're on. (This and the name will be played back each time you progress a floor without the "is now entering:" part, and the next floor number shown, along with any surviving Pokémon on the team/group.)

    Dungeon Stats:
    [IMG]
    [Lv. 2][OK][HP:12/12][P$0][Pouch:No items]

    [Lv. 2] <Level, it will determine evolution patterns, moves learned, and also determine part of your attack power. (See: HP)

    [OK] <Status, It may appear as [OK] (no status) [PLZ] (Paralysis) [PSN] (Poisoned) [PSN2] (Badly Poisoned) [BRN] (Burned) [SLP] (Asleep) [FRZ] (Frozen) [<3] (Infiltrated)
    [X~X] (Fainted, which means restart the dungeon if all are down, or the others keep going and you are dragged along, you will not gain exp, be able to move, use items, excluding the reviver seed as a pick-me-up, or react in this mode.)

    [HP:12/12] <HP You always gain HP On a level up, ranging 0-10 At random. The HP formula works like this: Attackers level Times Attack effectiveness (0.25/0.5/1/2/4) Times critical chance (1 in 20 chance random, X1 if not hit, X2 if hit) Divided by Defenders's level, if it has a decimal, it is always rounding down in the defender's favor (if the number is below 1 or negative at the end, the result damage is 1)

    To be simple the formula for damage is: (User's level X Typing matchup X critical / Defender's Level = Damage) Decimals round down in defender's favor, numbers smaller than 1 are now 1.

    Stats and changes must be listed with your icon before your turn and after the turn with the changes.

    Dungeon End Turn Stats:

    Bliss Got 1 Poke, she did not encounter any Pokémon, and did not find the staircase yet. (Staircase # is a null event to start the story for this 1 turn)

    Bliss Got 1 Poke, <items or money found this turn

    she did not encounter any Pokémon, <Whether or not you encountered a wild Pokémon this turn, and if so, which one?

    and did not find the staircase yet. <Whether or not you found the staircase, based on your staircase #, starting at 1-10 which is a random number from a generator, if it matches a second random number, you go up/down a floor and the number increases by 2, making it harder next turn. If not, the max staircase # decreases by one, making it easier next turn. you cannot go up/down a floor when fighting a Pokémon, during an event, you cannot go back a floor, and if the number ever reaches one, you go up/down by default, and the number is reset to a 1/10 chance. certain story/boss elements may also prevent progression of floors.

    (Staircase # is a null event to start the story for this 1 turn) < additional notes about the floor staircase findings for the turn, usually they appear to prevent it from being accessed to help the story along.

    -End of Bliss' turn- <marks the end of a player's turn.

    Other notes:

    We are based on the games, which are basically dungeon crawling adventures where you have been turned into a Pokémon who wants to go home but ends up having to adventure through a world full of mysterious dungeons, which always change their entire inner structure every time you enter. We have floors that stack going up or down, like a building, we have stairs that lead up or down, as well.

    We may encounter wild Pokémon that want to harm us and pose a possible risk to our well being, we have to take them out, pick up items that may help us, learn IQ skills via gummy candies for special abilities that trigger automatically, level up, and fight bosses at the end, which are very strong Pokémon that usually are reckless and powerful, they get progressively stronger, but so do you..

    You can evolve on the spot, team up with partners, find new teammates out of your defeated enemies, and even conquer dangerous dungeons that can twist your strategies and curb your advantages.

    Most of the games have you playing hero to Pokémon lost in these dungeons, usually trapped at the end, but as you go along, it'll be about protecting the new world you live in and possibly beyond.

    It usually features a deep story and has a few references to the mainstream games, via the accurate Pokédex descriptions and true power of the legendaries featured in the current gen.

    They usually feature a movement system of tiles, but in my version, each floor is one post, the only exception to this rule is boss battles, which lasts until they are down.

    You have the ability to use real attacks, but considering you will fight many foes in large amounts you can also just hit them with your standard attack button and save some PP, but this is usually weaker than moves and gets you less EXP if you defeat them.

    Game starts here:

    "Where... where am I? Ugh... My head..." {The poor confused girl appears to be unaware of her transformation, only wandering about the dungeon} "Where's that Pikachu?! I swear, when I get a hold of that little-" {Bliss gasps as she looks at her hand, now yellow and shorter, with tiny stubby fingers at the end, she quickly looks over her new form and hyperventilates a little.} "H-h-h-h-h-h-h... How did this... eeeeeeeeeeeek!" {She starts to run around in circles, eventually tripping over a tiny rock in front of small pond.} "Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew... so /gross/! I feel like a Pikachu... eeeew! I thought it was bad enough owning one! now I /am/ one?! Heck /no/!" {She tries to tug and pull at her face, hoping it was a mask and that this was just a prank, or that she was dreaming.} "Owowow, that hurts!" {She stops tugging after awhile and whimpers, sitting down and starting to cry.} "...What happened to me...? I feel so scared. Please! Somebody! Anybody... Help me, please!" {She curls into a fetal position and curls her tail despite her never having one. She looks at the trees and the nature around her in what appears to be a large meadow full of nature and all kinds of Pokémon, two things Bliss could not stand at this point. Tears flowing freely from her eyes, blurring her vision and making her very vulnerable in the worst place possible. She just lays there for awhile, doing nothing but crying in a fetal position with a few Pokémon watching her, despite their almost tribal nature, they felt pain seeing her like this. A young Sewaddle, Swadloon, and their mother, Leavanny, emerge from the greenery thicket and approach the young scared Pikachu slowly. Bliss is completely unaware, until she feels herself being covered by a leaf, and not just any leaf, it almost feels like a blanket, a big, warm, comfy blanket. She looks up, only to see the Pokémon in hindsight, leaving her to be. The Leavanny looking back and smiling before walking off into a big thicket, or was that just Bliss' imagination?} "Wait!!! don't leave me here!" {The young girl wanders into the dungeon with the blanket on in hopes of getting some kind of help. She too, wanders into the thicket. Little does she know she just entered a mysterious dungeon...}

    {The Pikachu eventually loses her blanket to the interior, but at this point, she doesn't care, and wants to find that helpful Pokémon. It might be able to help her find her way, or at least know some of the rules to being able to help her survive.} "Where did you go?! Please, I need help!" {The Leavanny is indeed ahead of her, it looks as if it dwindled just to make sure she was followed. but it quickly keeps moving, it almost sounds as if it wants her to follow, calling out to her with it's mouth moving like the mouthing of a human, "Find the stairs, discover the items, defeat other Pokémon, get stronger... overcome your biggest foes...} "What the heck does that mean...?" {the leavanny keeps going, dropping something something shiny as it proceeds, it almost looks like gold coins.} "Wait up! you have no idea what's going... ooh... pretty~"

    {Calliope traverses the mossy forest, grumbling to herself. Today was no different than any other day, although she wasn't quite sure why she had bothered coming home in the first place. She was always the outcast in her family's cove, and today was no different. Her older, stronger brothers liked to flaunt their strength over her any chance they could, but unfortunately for them, she had recently learned to use her venomous bite to her advantage. Unfortunately for her, her mother favored them rather than her, after all, who could love a puny little Venipede such as herself? She was scolded for the poisoning, though it was hardly anything serious, and also nothing that they hadn't done to her. Although there was more than a bit of malevolence behind the bite, and no restraint whatsoever. She hated being home and hated being treated as a lesser, and as such, she often escaped the hive and left for days on end. As she walked, she scuttled into a sunny meadow that made her feel wary, it wasn't often she left the forest, she liked being under the cover of trees, lest a passing Pidgeot or Swellow see her and decide she'd make a tasty snack. However, the warm sun invigorated her and she traveled into the the tall, bright grass, feeling better among the flowers.}

    {The deeper she carried on into the seemingly endless field, the more bizarre and warped it seemed to get} "Didn't I pass that bush already? Like, 3 times...?" {She looks on and sees the Levanny's shadows on the edge of the thicket, but it's no longer heading away from her, it's coming at her. She has doubts it's even a Leavanny the closer it gets} "S-stay back, I..." {she picks up a rock and holds it tightly, prepared in her mind about any threats that may be looming.} "I got rocks! I'll have you know I was a great aim in softball!" {A Metapod approaches her along with the Leavanny, the Leavanny speaks and says, "I think you should learn to fight before you go any further, so please, defeat Metapod here, or trust me, you will do more harm to yourself than good the higher you go." Bliss gasps loudly} "You can t-t-talk? Well, this day just got weirder..." {The Leavanny giggles lightly and replies "Yes, I can talk. I'll tell you what, I saw a Pokémon change you into a Pikachu from a really tall creature. If you can defeat Metapod and fight the bug at the top, along with any challenges in between, i will give you supplies, money for your troubles, and information on where it went. does that sound fair?" Bliss gulps a little.} "Why me?! I don't have a clue how to fight... {The Leavanny sighs "This Metapod is good practice, he's a friend that will not harm you, consider this some friendly training, when you can defeat him, there's a staircase that will take you deeper into this place and get you closer to the bug. I advise when you learn to battle, you keep battling before facing such a foe, I'll be waiting at the entrance for you, good bye, Dear little Bliss~" The Leavanny makes a cry and runs into the thicket, the Metapod looking braced for combat. With a sigh and a crack of her neck, she looks at it.} "I don't know what any of that meant, at all... But any help is good help right now, and it might be good to learn how to fight, anyways... if I'm gonna be a Pokémon, I might as well learn. guess these rocks will come in handy though, look good for throwing." {Bliss stores the 5 stones away}

    Bliss Got 5 Stones, She encountered a Metapod, and cannot proceed yet. (Max Staircase # dropped to 9)

    "Where am I? What is this place? What happened?", a Lillipup named Kiko thought to himself. {The poor Pokémon had no idea what happened;He was just at his store thingy a minute ago.}
    Kiko then lifted himself from the patch of flowers, which was really comfortable, to see where he was at. There wasn't a sign that specifically said where he was at. He just knew he was at a pretty place.
    Kiko then wandered around the pretty place, and after 10 minutes of doing so, he found a bag that had LOADS of shiny thingies.{Kiko didn't know what the shiny thingies were, so he let his curiosity get the best of him.} Kiko picked it up, and put it in his pouch, just until....
    "THAT LITTLE PIPSQUEAK IS STEALING MY CASH!", he heard a Sawk say. Due to Sawk being a fear of Kiko's, Kiko picked up all of the shiny thingies and RAN.{Kiko had no idea what just happened;a Sawk just appeared out of no where}
    As Kiko kept on running, he tripped over a rock, and went sliding, stopping at a Krokorok. The Krokorok must of had seen the Sawk chasing Kiko, so the Krokorok said....
    "Hey! Pick on someone your own size!"
    The Sawk then turned around and said, "What can you do about it, you crocodile?" "Keep back talking and you'll find out!", the Krokorok said, just as when he got kicked TWICE in the face!
    "ITS SUPPURRR EFFECCCCTIIIIVVVVVEEEESZZZZ!", a nearby Arbok said. "Back to the Pipsqueak!", Sawk said, just as when Kiko had ran between his legs.
    Kiko came across a meadow and quickly thought, "Hmm, a meadow. M's remind me of Marshmallows, and Meadows seem peaceful. Lets go in there!"
    Kiko then went into the Meadow, leaving the Sawk behind.

    Kiko got 250 P$, He encountered a Sawk, and has just went into a dungeon.

    If I wasnt even suppose to post yet, you can ban me and banish me, and then throw me in a dungeon in the place you banish me to.
