The Red and Blue Gym Leader battle music from the first games. Brings back a lot of memories for me, being a kid and and getting pumped.

Also, I really like the Elite 4 Battle music for Gen V, especially the beginning. Perfect intense feel for what are supposed to be the most intense battles in the region.

In all seriousness, though, I'd say my favorites are Cynthia's theme from DPPT, the Elite 4 theme and N's Final Battle theme from B/W.

 

I really like the updated version of the Dark Cave song found in HeartGold/SoulSilver.

I've always had two top favourites out of all the Pokémon OSTs so far.

#1: I've always loved the Red & Blue Trainer battle theme. It's catchy and upbeat, fitting for the tense and hyper edginess of a fight!

#2: Coming a close second, my second favourite would have to be the classic Opening Menu theme, also from R&B. I can't really explain why, but it's just something that clicks into the right spot in my head, and sets the standard for which I compare all the other top menu themes to.

I have the (original) trainer battle music as my ringtone, haha. Aside from that, I really like Route1, Lavender Town, Celestial Tower, and Iris battle.

Oh man, I've got so many! I'll try and narrow it down though, so let's see...

1st is Burned Tower. It sounds so ancient and mysterious.



2nd is the Rocket Hideout from Gold/Silver. Love how sneaky it is, and also how the tune really captures the noise of 'radio waves'.

Aside from those, I absolutely love the jazzy music such as Virbank City and Veilstone City.
