(It's an elegantly colored flower, the darkest shade of dark purple with a star-shaped emblem, the meaning of which is unknown.)
@Sugar "Oh, this is the Aurora Lotus Headband--the hair accessory for Aurora Night." the employee smiled. She led Alyssa over to a display, where a beautiful layered costume that resembled an aurora glittered under the lights.
"Wow, I would've come here a long time ago if I knew that there was a costume like this just sitting here waiting for someone to buy it. These would be very popular where I'm from; we like the bold an mysterious side of performances. Then again, my academy was nothing to write home about, so thaat's part of the reason why I ended up here."
@Sugar "Aurora Night is one of our most popular costumes." The employee smiled. "It's also our featured costume this week, if you're interested in buying."
"You make a compelling deal, but what would you say to a deal, moreso a trade? We can both make a killing off of this, but only if you're interested."
@Sugar Employees ran to see the different Lotus headbands, and before long, Alyssa was the proud owner of an Aurora Night costume..
"Well Alyssa, you got rid of those headbands and you got a new costume to boot. Now all you have to do is hope they go to a good place, and don't fall into the wrong hands. Anyway, look at this costume, it fits perfectly with my headband!"
@Sugar Luckily, the shopping plaza had a food court, but the group decided to return to the main campus. "We'll see the other brands next time." Brock assured the group.
"Good, I've been having way too much fun today, if there's even such a thing. This isn't my first time someone's stopped me from having too much fun"
@Sugar After retrieving their belongings, the class headed to lunch. The cafeteria was busy as word of Ash's performance in the plaza raced through the school.
Alyssa grabbed the same lunch she had yesterday and took her usual seat on the far edge, but close to everyone. It had already been an amazing day for her and it was only lunchtime.
@Sugar With Ash busy with his promotion, it was only Brock and the girls for this performance. "Let's give'em a little gypsy jazz..." Serena smiled. Brock nodded, and counted the girls off into a guitar, fiddle, and mandolin rendition of a tune many recognized as Isle Delfino Plaza from "Super Mario Sunshine".
Alyssa tried to restrain herself from taking her flute out, but she eventually gave into temptation. She started playing and every single note was on point and synchronized with the other instruments impeccably. Instead of eating lunch and relaxing, Alyssa was tossing her hat into the ring once again.
@Sugar "Pity Ash isn't here..." Misty sighed. "Then we could play the Donut Lift Rag, and let him have a turn on the fiddle." Excited whispers wafted through the cafeteria at this. Ash didn't play fiddle very often with Miracolore, but any time he did was a big event.
Alyssa hummed along and looked up at the now halted performance. She was trying to think up an idea to once again toss her hat into the ring and take this performance to the next level. She was always good at that; although it's been such a long time since she did so, she decided that something had to be done.
(Alyssa has a half story / half performance that'd she like to show off. The origins and title of the story are both unknown. She's very good at story performances too.)
@Sugar "Any volunteers for student performances?" Misty looked at the crowd--they usually allowed students to perform if one or more of the group was away.
