@Sugar (How's this sound: Take Me to Your Heart) Brock has actually covered this song in universe, but what is linked is the original version from the 80's)
(This works just fine. Might be a little tough for Alyssa to get going with it, but I'm sure she'll do just fine.)
@Sugar A pounding 80's beat spurred cheers as people hurried out on the floor. Even though Brock had covered "Take Me to Your Heart" (and still kept the 80's feel), the original version was just as loved.
It took a little bit, but Alyssa got right into her dance with a flourish. Her moves were swift and agile, her rhythm was that of a metronome, and everything was nearly perfect. She was having a lot of fun and she had just started.
Martine nodded her head up and down to the beat, and wondered how everyone else was reacting to Alyssa's dancing. Alyssa was dancing as impressively as she had promised.
(I thought she would dance with whatever Alyssa would pick. Still, for this case, she could dance to "Your Affection" (the song she has played a few times already) from Dancing All Night)
Martine went up to the DJ and enthusiastically requested her song. "J'espère que vous aimez cette musique," she said to Alyssa. "It's appropriate for a duet."
@Sugar @122 Generation Cheers filled the air as the song began. Many ran out on the floor to join in dancing.
Essentially, Martine's dance movements were one of a style that was as catchy as the song. While there were many others who were dancing to the song, it was Martine who was leading the stage in the middle. Near the end of the song, Alyssa had a chance to jump in for the brief duet. Of course, those who heard the song on Radio White before already knew what they were getting into.
Alyssa whistled to the DJ to play another song. Perhaps something out of left field this time, something that the crowd hadn't heard before.
