@Sugar @122 Generation (This event wouldn't start until after you've each had some performances, auditions, and promotions under your belt. Also Martine could probably fit in with the color guard, which is what Misty does when it's time for Spirit Week)
@122 Generation (Basically, all the idol academies from across Kanto (and around the Pokeworld) get together for a massive week-long competition as to which one has the most spirit--as part of the festivities, every student and staff member forms a massive marching band (complete with a color guard and baton twirlers) to entertain the public, and compete)
@Sugar The idols participating in the promotion chattered excitedly as they waited for Miracolore to brief them on what to expect. Typically, this type of promotion involved the students meeting potential fans and demonstrating their takes on Miracolore's extensive catalog of hits
Alyssa half-expected something super-exciting, or rather something super fun. She talked to her voice for a while and discussed what this promotion could possibly be, but came up empty. Nevertheless, Alyssa was anxious, yet excited to be participating in this promotion.
@Sugar The chatter quieted as Miracolore arrived in their standard stage costumes. "Good morning, all--for your first real promotion, we're traveling to the Celadon Square, so you can meet potential fans and take a crack at performing some of our best known songs." Misty explained. "The point of the performance is not to let the fans see something obviously planned and rehearsed." Brock added. "We want them to see your natural love and passion for music, mistakes and all."
"Don't forget to put all your heart out there too. Show some emotion out there, the last thing your fans want to see is an emotionless person. They're not here to see that, they're here to see the idols that what made them your fans in the first place."
@Sugar "Yes, that's right." Serena smiled. After going over the schedule for the day (and that lunch and dinner would be provided), the group set out for the city square. Thousands of people of all ages had gathered, all of them eager to see the next generation of idols.
Alyssa looked out from where she was to see if there was anyone she knew there. She was really counting on her parents on coming, but she supposed that they could support her from anywhere.
@Sugar "Okay, everyone--change into your Stage costumes." Brock instructed. "We'll kick off the event with 'Satisfaction', and then introduce you guys." "If any of you want to try and perform, now's the time to tell us." Misty warned. "We even have a few spare vocoders should anyone want to attempt their own solo version of 'Satisfaction'."
"Alright Lyss, you know what to do, so don't mess anything up, bring your A-game, and you should be more than perfectly fine. Remember, this is about your fans, not about you, so just do what you do best...being yourself."
@Sugar Flashes of light and various elementals filled the backstage area as one by one, various idols transformed into their Stage costumes. Onstage, Ash and Serena kicked off "Satisfaction". Get out on the floor! It's time to move your feet! Let the rhythm move you, wave your hands in the air! So let us all forget our troubles and our cares! Misty and Brock joined in. And let the music play, play it all night long... The audience exploded in screams and cheers at the song's introduction--while Brock was the one that had originally written it and performed it, it had since become Miracolore's best known song.
"Ooh, this again. Time do drop everything and get ready to nail down your dance moves and break out your impeccable singing voices. Let's do this, lovely voice." In one swift motion, Alyssa along with her voice nailed down every single beat and note with flawless perfection. It was almost like she was a supercomputer doing what it was made to do, maintaining a high level of performance.
@Sugar (You're backstage waiting for Miracolore to announce you, so you need to be in Ruby Stage. That's not to say you can't attempt your own solo cover later in the event)
@Sugar To Miracolore, "Satisfaction" was much of a joy to perform the thousandth time as it was the first. But once the veteran idols had finished the song, it was time to introduce the next generation. "And now, time for the main event--please welcome the next generation!" Brock announced, making a grand gesture to stage left as the new idols ran to meet Miracolore onstage...
