"How thoughtful of you all--i feel safer already." Alyssa sounded thankful. She ate a Rawst Berry as the lights went down.
@Sugar @122 Generation The lights went down over a tense stinger. "Captain Vernet left the throne room in high spirits--he was going to kill two Pidgeys with one stone by sending our heroes and Caliste on a journey to the middle of nowhere." Melody narrated. "With them out of the way, he could take over the throne without opposition!"
As everyone in the cast knew, the an wouldn't go as planned so to say. But who could predict the future? Everyone would see what would happen.
@Sugar @122 Generation A slow, tense melody began as the lights came up on the secret hideout. I, once had a dream that the people obeyed... the boy playing Captain Vernet sang as he walked in the scene. Listened, to my every word and commands from the dark... I, want them to bow down and call me the king... First I'll call this land mine, then tomorrow, the world! The people, they are little fools... Who don't know, the charms of the dark To be heartless and cruel! Just accept my offer of power, You'll all be slaves under my control! And one day, this whole wide world, will be under my rule!
@Sugar @122 Generation The girl playing Lilliane applauded the song as the music ended. "Good evening, Liliane..." the boy playing Captain Vernet gave her a sweeping bow. "It's good to see you in good spirits, milord--and these three made it through their trip through the Pit of Ordeals just fine!" she smiled as the three bandits walked in, miraculously unscathed. "Although it took'em a week to do it." she mused to the audience, to some giggles. "Good to see you three--you know the play is tomorrow night...." the boy began. "Yes sir!" the bandits chorused. "I want the princess and those three gone before then!" the boy ordered. "How should we do that?" the first bandit asked. "The princess is the easy part--just lock her away in a tower in the middle of nowhere." the boy explained. "Those three so called musketeers will be the hard part...." "We'll think of something! Don't worry!" the second bandit assured the boy. They hurried offstage as the lights went down.
Oh little did anyone know that Vernet's plan was to fail horribly. Apparently he didn't get the message yet...
@Sugar @122 Generation There was some chaos backstage as the coach set was moved into place. "The princess and our three heroes left on their journey that afternoon, under the impression they were on their way to a neighboring country..." Melody narrated from her nook.
@Sugar @122 Generation The lights came up on the coach set, to some awed murmurs at the moving background. But backstage, Serena and the rest of the set crew heaved relieved sighs that the moving backdrops worked as they were supposed to. Spoiler: The script for this scene Narrator: The princess and our three heroes left on their journey that afternoon, under the impression they were on their way to a neighboring country. @Sugar @122 Generation After a few tense seconds, Ash nudged Misty, snapping her from admiring the view from the coach window. "Isn't this great?" he smiled. "You bet!" Misty smiled back.
"Isn't it romantic, Nicole? Having three brave musketeers by our side to protect us? The black haired one is pretty handsome too." Alyssa had stars in her eyes.
Martine twirled one of her red locks with her fingers. "I see why you like him so, but you're forgetting something..." she said, glancing at Alyssa's eyes.
@Sugar @122 Generation The audience murmured as the orchestra played a tense stinger. Just how would the princess react to bad news from her lady?
@Sugar @122 Generation Nervous giggles filled the air at Alyssa's reaction. Others worried about her reaction to Martine's bad news.
Martine palmed her head to Alyssa's reaction, as if she was annoyed. "With very few exceptions, most musketeers are commoners. Even then, most royal musketeers are taken."
@Sugar @122 Generation The audience waited to see how the princess would react. Would she cry? Get angry, or something even more dramatic?
