@Sugar @122 Generation Some Popplios swam up to the group, intrigued by the dive suits. A Primarina held them close to her, just in case the humans were threats
Martine was more or less startled by the Pokémon, but she forced herself to breathe normally. There was no use wasting precious air.
@Sugar @122 Generation The swim to the Clamperl beds was uneventful. But once they reached beds, the group gasped in awe at the millions of Clamperls.
Alyssa's eyes were darting back and forth at the Clamperl. Multiple hundreds of schools passed her every 5 minutes.
A school of Wishiwashi also passed by Martine as Martine got closer to the beds. There were a lot of Clamperl.
@Sugar @122 Generation "As tempting as it is to take the pearls the Clamperl make, the ethical thing to do is look, but not touch." Brock's voice crackles through the water. "If you must take a pearl, only take those the Clamperls naturally release into the water."
"Hey, look, that's a huge one." Alyssa saw a Clamperl drop a pearl about twice the size of the others. She felt so tempted to grab it.
@Sugar "Unless it's released, leave it be." Misty cautioned. She then started an underwater video camera, filming the Clamperls from different angles.
@Sugar @122 Generation Just then, a Clamperl released a greenish pearl. Of course, Serena's camera was rolling the whole time.
Not wanting to let that pearl fall, Martine swam over to catch the greenish pearl before it could touch bottom. She raised an eye at the size of the pearl, which fit in the palm of her hand.
@Sugar @122 Generation After a beautiful dive expedition, the group's next activity was a session at the Trainer's School. Prof. Kukui was giving a lecture on an ancient Alolan epic that many said was the basis for the Island Challenge.
