Alyssa immediately signed herself up for one of the healthier rice bowls. She had to know what was in it, cause if just the sight of it looked good, it probably tasted out of this world.
@Sugar @122 Generation The bowl in question was a Combusken and veggie bowl filled to the brim with fresh meat and veggies. Those that did not eat meat could also ask for "impossible" plant based meat.
@Sugar @122 Generation Both bowls were out to the girls in a timely manner. Though the chefs worked tirelessly to deliver the many food items, they still prepared everything fresh every day. A sign on the wall assured customers that everything was "always fresh, never frozen." Posters on the walls even showed customers where the meat and veggies came from.
The eel rice bowl that Martine ordered also came with a nutritious Chansey egg, and the bowl overall looked delicious.
@Sugar @122 Generation The next day dawned a little cooler than normal--perfect weather for a day at the ranch. Those with musical ability were welcome to pack their instruments.
Alyssa had read a little about the Paniola Ranch online. It was larger than any kind of ranch she'd seen before, which made her wonder what all the land was used for besides Pokémon-related things. She packed her flute and headed on out.
Martine had packed her rented ukulele with her for the outing. Supposedly the ranch had enough wide open spaces that was perfect for musical performances.
@Sugar @122 Generation The ranch was fairly quiet, save for the occasional Ponyta or Tauros in the pasture. A few curious barn Meowths watched the crowd of idols coming in. They were used to visitors coming to play music with the hands after the work for the day was done.
Martine appreciated the pasture. It had some of the aestheic that reminded her of the routes near her home.
@Sugar @122 Generation Miacolore were already present in the session room, tuning up. As more people arrived, they too would start tuning up. All told, there was Brock, the one guitarist and harpist, plenty of fiddles (counting Misty and Serena), plenty of Pokeflutes, concert flutes, and whistles (counting Ash and Alyssa), the occasional accordion (counting Serena), some banjos, some mandolins (counting Serena), some ukuleles (counting Martine), a harmonica or two (counting Ash), the drummer, and a few dancers.
It was an excellent day for some music. Beautiful and sunny. Alyssa wondered what was going to be played.
@Sugar @122 Generation "Okay, are we ready?" Brock asked, strumming an A chord as a reference for those still tuning. Various A chords and A notes answer him back.
