@Sugar @122 Generation Brock steps onto the soloist's platform next. Once sure his harp fingerpicks are on comfortably, he starts a dreamy rendition of "The Fairy's Waltz"--the signal he has a tale to tell. (what Brock plays)
Alyssa poked at her flute while listening intently. It was a nice, relaxing piece from her perspective.
@Sugar @122 Generation The session was a smashing success, and the students returned to their hotel rooms happy. Tomorrow, they would embark to Brooklet Hill
@Sugar @122 Generation Luckily, the next day was forecast to be one of the rare sunny days around the hill. Lana would guide the group on a tour of the hill and its Pokémon.
@Sugar @122 Generation The way to Brooklet Hill is not far. Lana waits for us at the entryway. "Alola, and welcome to Brooklet Hill. I'm Lana, the Trial Captain here. Luckily, our expedition into the hill will not include where trialgoers go--that is kapu for those not on the challenge."
@Sugar @122 Generation A Primarina pulling a raft arrives. Luckily, there's more than enough room for everyone, lifejackets, and safety restraints inside the raft. "Make sure you put on a life jacket." Lana cautions. "While capsizing doesn't usually happen in the calmer waters, it's always good to be prepared."
Alyssa grabbed herself a lifejacket and climbed onto to the raft. She was wondering what she was going to see. The area had so many scenic views, she herself didn't know where to start when she came here last.
@Sugar @122 Generation Once everyone was in the raft, the Primarina drifted through the calm currents. She sang the famous whistle-like cry Primarina was famous for, rallying some Popplios to her side. The heartwarming scene prompted a few "aw"s as the passengers made their way down the river. "Noelani is very friendly with the Pokémon here--she looks after lost and orphaned Popplios." Lana explained.
@Sugar @122 Generation Noelani first stopped by a misty wall. "This is the river leading to the Trial site." Lana explained. "Only trialgoers are allowed here, so we won't be going inside. That, and the currents within are too strong even for a Primarina."
