Alyssa could barely see how strong the currents were, no wonder only trialgoers were allowed in. The waters outside were sparkling and calm however.
@Sugar @122 Generation Noelani next stopped by a river that led into a forest filled with glowing mushrooms. "This is Luna Grove, a forest famous for its Morelull population." Lana explained. "It's beautiful to see at night, but daytime expeditions are not unheard of."
"If only the Kimono Gurks were here to see this beauty." Alyssa wondered how her mentors would feel about this.
@Sugar @122 Generation Noelani turned into the river that led into Luna Grove. Many oohed and ahhed over the colorful glowing mushrooms, hoping to get a glimpse of a Morelull.
Alyssa's sharp eyes caught a Morelull in their sights. She attempted to observe their behavior from afar.
@Sugar @122 Generation The Morelull was intrigued by the Primarina pulling a raft of excited visitors. They were used to visitors sailing through the forest, so Lana riding Noelani was not unusual.
(Sure) Martine wondered what the grove would appear like at night. But then again, there was more to see.
@Sugar @122 Generation After a leisurely loop around the forest, the group sailed down the main river to reach one of the deeper pools. "Brooklet Hill is surprisingly known as a diving hotspot." Lana explained. "Rescue divers often come here to practice diving in rainy conditions."
"That sounds exhilarating" Alyssa thought to herself. She wondered how deep the waters around here could get.
@Sugar @122 Generation You return to the hotel tired, but happy. You saw quite a lot of amazing sights today--you won't soon forget Brooklet Hill.
Alyssa wrote about her day in her journal as usual. Perhaps to.orrow would being something even more exciting.
@Sugar @122 Generation The next day dawned bright and sunny--perfect for celebrating the Wela Festival. Kiawe had asked Brock to weave tales during the festival, and Miracolore had happily agreed. It helped there would be plenty of food, games, and dancing to go around.
Alyssa looked down from her window and saw the square abundant with activity, and such a beautiful to do it on too. She quickly got some appropriate clothing and raced outside.
@Sugar @122 Generation The hotel lobby buzzed with excitement about the festival they were going to see. Brock had covered the origins of the Wela Festival in a class, and how it was very similar to a story explaining the origin of Kanto's own Lantern Festival.
