@Sugar "We're not quite ready for this to debut yet." the employee confessed. "It will officially debut this week, though."
@Sugar "It will take place in the West Ruby Plaza Friday morning at 10." the employee replied. (the Ruby Plaza--the open area in front of the Passion/Power brand shops. The West Plaza faces Phoenix Power, and the East Plaza faces Starlight Rouge)
Alyssa took out her scheduling notebook and wrote down this event in it. "How good is the consumer turnout for these types of things?"
@Sugar "If the design has been anticipated, it can easily fill the square." the employee replied/ "Sometimes, the plaza has been filled completely!"
"Ay ay ay, I'll be sure to come extra early for this. You would assume this has been anticipated for a long time in advance. Thank you for everything."
@Sugar "Anytime." the employee smiled as she went back to her work. Back in the square, Brock kicked off a driving rock influenced melody for the crowd that had gathered. He had already had to empty his tips into a larger jar for safekeeping, but the Midori Mist cup was rapidly filling up again--not with the citrus soda Pewter City was famous for, but coins as thanks for the beautiful music Brock was creating. (Midori Mist--Mountain Dew, Mello Yello, or other citrus flavored soda in the Pokeworld. If you want a high powered citrus soda like Surge or Vault, that's called Verde Power--which is not to be confused with Oran Power, the most popular orange soda brand in the Pokeworld.)
Alyssa rolled back to the stage in time for this lovely melody. She had always enjoyed rock music more than anything else, but this was a little bit different than what she had heard when she used to listen to it.
@Sugar Brock smiles as he finishes the song. "Who said a steel string acoustic guitar couldn't rock n' roll?" he jokes. With that, he launches into a rendition of "Walk, Don't Run" to the delight of the crowd. (what Brock plays)
"If this is going to be an all day thing, I may be able to visit every shop in this village and still have enough time to listen to the performance. Actually, that sounds like a wonderful idea. Maybe I can do this in between sets."
(Excellent! Alyssa may drop a request later, but for now...) Alyssa hopped into Starlight Rouge to see if there was anything interesting going on in there. She did see some commotion in there earlier.
@Sugar The commotion was over a new costume that had just arrived--a sparkling pink outfit named Starlight Rose.
"Alright, let's see what's so special about this outfit." Alyssa rolled into the packed store and stood behind the counter with the rest of the audience.
@Sugar The outfit glittered under the lights of the display case, enhancing its magenta color. Silvery sparkles were all over the outfit, adding what looks like shooting star trim.
Alyssa almost had to shield her eyes from the outfit; it was so bright. But it looked very pretty nonetheless. It looked to be pretty expensive just based on the design itself.
@Sugar (peels self away from Ultra Sun) There was too much of a crowd to see the price tag. Rumors had said, however, that the costume would be very afforable
(Halts personal apocalypse of not having the new games.) Alyssa slowly counted out her money to see if she had enough. Luckily, she had plenty to buy the outfit and maybe even a second one too.
@Sugar Luckily, there was no need for a lottery to buy the outfit. Alyssa was actually one of the first in line.
Alyssa was so distractecd by the outfit, she didn't even realize she was at the front of the line. "Oh, um, how much for the outfit?" She was clearly nervous.
