So have I been the only one confused as to how the signs work? I understand that the signs represent a certain Pokémon, but how do you call a Pokémon with just your Styler? That concept makes no sense to me.

I imagined it being more like a beacon in the sky that a Pokémon sees and comes to your aid. Even though it's generally depicted as being drawn on the ground.

It kind of makes sense. The problem is, the beacon doesn't have a light that the called Pokémon can just see (at least I don't think). In that case, the Pokémon would have to be right above you to see the sign. But seeing as when you use a sign for the beasts, they just come out of nowhere, so it's more of a summon.

The problem is, though, how the Styler can use this sign to summon a Pokémon. Would anyone be able to do it with a pen and paper or dirt? How does that work?

But now I have a better question. Is there any way to delete comments of your own?

Nope. I got you though. Also, instead of posting twice in a row, if you want to add something else, you should edit your previous post. It makes things more compact and reduces spam.
