Who else has had difficulty catching the Regis on this game? And Steelix was a pain in the ass, too.

I'm probably going to get hate for saying this but...I really didn't enjoy this game much.. The idea of circling around a Pokémon made my hand tired.

I loved the Ranger games! Did anyone else have this problem, though?
I bought the first game and I really enjoyed it, but... I forgot and didn't finish it. That was a long time ago!
Well I bought the second one and loved it and... forgot and remembered and finished it just before the third came out.
Then I got the third and played it all the way through.
Unfortunately, I then went back to try to finish the first one, and found that the improvements they'd made in the second and third versions made the first one seem so much worse by comparison that I just couldn't finish it.
I've never had this problem with the main series games - half way through White 2 I got nostalgic and beat the E4 in Red version. So I think that problem is that the first ranger game was honestly just too hard for me... Maybe I'll try it again soon.

Ukulele Pichu helped a lot in Guardian Signs, though. The addition made the game a lot easier to beat.

Yeah, I remember when I played the first Ranger game that is was really hard. I didn't even beat it back then.. Then I played the second and third, and won them both easily. When I then came back to the first game to finish it, it was so difficult! I really had problems with Rayquaza.. I did capture him in the end, though.
With the changes they've done to the second and third games, it does make the first one a lot more difficult.

Anyone think they'll ever add another addition to this series? I seriously loved the Ranger games so much!

Man, I remember the first game. I'll never forget the pain I went through. This game gave me the rush like no other Pokémon game. XD Man, those 4 Dragons were the worst, in my opinion. And I know my memory is failing me, since I'm not sure what this game was in, but that Camerupt. Dear god that Camerupt. I will never look at a Camerupt the same way again.

After playing the first game to death, since there was a really large gap before I got the second game, I got used to the crazy loop de loops. The changes over the series was great, mostly the changing partner Pokémon in game 2, but damn if I don't miss those crazy loop de loops. The whole n number of loops till capture was...wow. Though Ukelele Pichu was awesome, but I rather loved having Pachirisu around. Idk why. Man, I wish they made more of this.

My favorite game in this series is definitely Shadows of Almia, although the other two are fantastic as well. The storyline and region of the second game was just great in my opinion, and I've replayed the game a bunch of times. Sadly, I no longer have the game, but I do want to buy it again sometime to play through just for fun.

It would be interesting if they decided to make another Ranger game for the 3DS. While I wouldn't want my screen to get scratched up due to vigorous circling, I guess that's what screen protectors are for, haha. It would be interesting to see how they would incorporate the Ranger world into a true 3D environment.

Man, the hassle involved in the first Ranger game drove me nuts. And that Salamence in particular, but then came the legendary dogs, if I remember correctly. But the post-game stuff was the worst.

Shadows of Almia was far and away a better experience and I still give it a run every now and again, usually once a year. Haven't yet had the chance to play Guardian Signs.
