Pokemon TGC - The Game Boy game

I loved this game I have fond memories of it - my cartridge had every card on it except the two you had to Infrared to get.

I had some rather sick decks too, if I recall correctly... one based around Energy Removal cards, along with Dratini/Poliwag/Psyduck. Their evolved forms have access to Hyper Beam and Whirlpool, which also remove energy! Basing it around these 3 also spreads my weaknesses whilst only requiring Water energy. It was nice.

 

I swear the psychic Master cheated--and to this day, even if I play Solitaire, I still hear the normal duel music

 

I remember playing this on an emulator at age 5. I couldn't make out anything of it, I knew little to no english and I didn't know the TCG rules at all.
I think I managed to win the first battle.
Now you guys make me want to play it, hmm...

 

This is the same for me, I collected the cards back when I was young but never played, however I enjoyed the game. I remember I used a Water/Electric deck to beat it. There was actually a sequel made but only released in Japan, however there are now translated ROMs. From what I read on a another site, this is the best translated one if people are interested.

 

I wish I knew there was a game for gameboy, but I'm into the real cards right now, and TCGO. Its basically the gameboy game, but its updated and all, easier to battle others

 

I played this before. It was really fun even if it wasn't like todays TCG.
