Since it's quite windy over there, Sniper raised his Silk Scarf again while Marissa searched for the Gyarados statue... and found it. She took her aim way off to the left because the wind would blow her arrow to the right anyway.
Did it reach...? Just when Marissa was contemplating on how to check the target out, Sniper gave his scarf and Alicorn's Pokéball back to her -- and braved the cold water himself. That sure made her unable to believe her eyes.
@Kittimancy Master Karashi applauded. "Wow! Most impressive! But your challenges only get harder from here..."
Back on the land, Sniper gave the retrieved arrow back to Marissa. He also reported via sign language that the arrow had hit the target. "Thanks, mate," she thanked her Inteleon while swapping the arrow with the Silk Scarf and Alicorn's Pokéball, then turned to Master Karashi. "The next one is Arbok, right?"
@Kittimancy Master Karashi nodded. "The last few targets have had you shooting down. To find Arbok, you need to aim upward."
@Kittimancy Something purple swayed in the breeze atop a bridge. Was that the Arbok statue with its orb? Even if it was just the bridge swaying, it still looked very much like an Arbok.
Aight, here goes... As usual, Sniper's Silk Scarf gave Marissa some clues about the wind's direction. With that in mind, the girl shot her arrow with a little bit more power -- considering it would go upward to begin with.
@Kittimancy Giving more power worked a little TOO well. The arrow flew past the Arbok's pendant, where the orb was. Arceus only knew where it went.
...okay, big oof. Seems like Marissa got too tense when she gave more power to her arrow. So all she had to do was to relax... and try again with her usual pace.
@Kittimancy Master Karashi watched as Marissa tried again. If she could break Arbok's orb, she would be halfway through the trial
Shooting at the usual pace didn't seem to work either -- it didn't even reach the statue to begin with, and fell... and hit Marissa's head. "OUCH!!!" The arrow's shaft may be the part that hit her head, but it still hurts. Especially considering that it ended up hitting the bruise from the other day (which was almost fully healed). Oh, s***, Sniper thought as he rushed to his trainer's side. I wish we had some first aid kits...
@Kittimancy Master Karashi hurried over with a first aid kit. "Are you okay?" he asked as he examined the bump.
Cobalt waited as the ball launcher launched balls from them. He swing the blade on his right to deflect one coming to his face.
"It's the same spot from before," Sniper told Master Karashi via sign language. "And the wound looks bad enough to warrant a break," he continued. (Not sure if Master Karashi can understand sign language, but still...)
@Kittimancy A Corviknight arrives to take you back to the dojo. Once there, you are rushed to the medical bay. @Ignem The more balls you whack away, the more come at you. But Master Mitsu watches to make sure you are not overwhelmed.
Cobalt continues to deflect the balls away with the blades. He had a good amount of stamina by his side, but after sometime he was running out on that as well.
@Ignem Luckily, the cannons stop not long after that. "Very good!" Master Mitsu smiles. "You have great control over the blades."
