Cobalt was again the first to wake up in the morning. He got up and stretched and waited for the others to get up.
Again, Cobalt was already up by the time Marissa got out from her tent. Aside from their own, she only could see Dawn's tent nearby. Victor's and Gloria's were nowhere to be seen.
@SAF @Ignem There was a note by a rock--Gloria explaining where she and Victor were headed, and her contact info. [Morning...] Emiyou yawned. [Victor and Gloria have moved on on their travels...did you find Gloria's note?]
(From this point onward I'll assume that Alicorn helps Marissa with Pokémon talks unless Sniper is around.) "A note, huh?" Marissa muttered when Emiyou mentioned Gloria's note. Her eyes scanned around, eventually finding a note by that rock over there. She then took the note and unfolded it, curious about its content.
@SAF "Dear Marissa and Cobalt--thank you for sharing your fire with us." Gloria's writing read. "If you need us for any reason, my contact info is as follows..." Below that was Gloria's phone number and e-mail.
"Alright I think we should keep going onwards, " Cobalt said. He was itching for a good battle seeing he was not able to get a good battle since he has been here.
Meanwhile, Marissa saved Gloria's contact info in her Rotom Phone. Not telling more details, eh? she quietly mused with a light giggle. Her attention then turned to Cobalt without physically turning to him. "You're right, Cobalt. But..." Marissa turned to Dawn's tent with her voice drifting off. "...has Dawn woke up yet?"
@SAF @Ignem "I'm up...making breakfast." Dawn called from the campfire. "One of the many recipes Brock made on my first trip around Shinou. If the musician and storyteller gig doesn't work out, he can always start a cooking show!"
"Oh! Morning, Dawn," the notion of breakfast drew Marissa's attention. "What's cooking?" she peered at the in-progress cuisine.
@SAF @Ignem "Cinnamon pecan rolls..." Dawn replied. "Brock was nice enough to write down some of my favorite recipes."
"Ooo, tasty~" the redhead mused. She hadn't ever met Brock in person before -- only watched his gaming streams as PewterSong -- yet she was pretty sure that he must be an awesome cook.
@SAF "In addition to a master trainer, musician, storyteller, actor, gamer, and archer...Brock can also add chef to that resume." Dawn smiles. "Out of an entire trip around Shinou, there's was only one meal that didn't turn out right. Accidentally overcooked a lasagna, if memory serves."
Welp, at this point Marissa wasn't even sure which one drew more of her attention: Brock being an archer or Brock accidentally overcooked a lasagna sometime during his trip with Dawn. All she could let out was a rather stunned "O-oh..."
@SAF Dawn looked concerned at Marissa's shocked look. "Is everything okay?" [Yes...are you okay?] Emiyou was just as concerned.
"I- I prolly gonna need him to teach me some archery tricks..." Marissa stuttered. She only got the basics so far.
@SAF "Okay...where do you need help?" Dawn wondered. "If I find him on the island, I'll pass the word along."
"Uh..." Marissa scratched the back of her head. To be fair though, she hadn't even figured out where to start from.
@SAF "There's no rush." Dawn assured Marissa. "Even if you find him before I do, he will always be happy to help archers of any skill level--beginners and pros alike."
"Ah, okay," Marissa said with a rather dejected look. Dawn really got a point there, yeah. "Anyway," the redhead girl immediately changed the topic. "Where did you get your Mega Evolution from last night?" she asked Dawn out of curiosity. (I hope Dawn remembers her cooking...)
@SAF Luckily, Dawn remembered her dish, and hurried to salvage it before it burned. "That was close..." She explained "I found my Mega Ring in some old ruins...
