@SAF @Ignem (The Drapion is vulnerable for three turns. If it is hit with a negative status, it will create a barrier the next turn
@SAF Jao wiisha nes chiel com yutuul... comes Tintri's tiny voice again. His Disarming Voice is red electrified music notes. "Namida, try Mud Shot again!" Misty calls. Satomi, boost everyone with Calm Mind!" Dawn calls Brock and Rocky watch intently...
(@Ignem who do you want to move first: Charizard or Drapion? Please keep in mind that Charizard has a speed boost and Drapion has a speed drop.)
"Charizard Dragon Claw!" Cobalt said again. Charizards claws extended with a bluish energy as it rushed towards Drapion to attack.
@WavePearl @Ignem Spoiler: Round 4 Brock: Arrow shot (barrier 1/2) Marissa: Arrow shot (barrier 0/2) Mega Charizard X: Dragon Claw (RNG: 68 - hit) Tintri: Disarming Voice (auto-hit) Namida: Mud Shot (RNG: 83 - critical hit) Satomi: Calm Mind (attack + defense boost on self + allies) Drapion: Earthquake (RNG: 79 - critical hit on Sniper, awaiting others' responses) Another round of shattering barrier means another round of bad time for the Drapion. Thanks to Satomi's Calm Mind, Charizard's Dragon Claw hurt more than it previously did. That, combined with Tintri's electrical Disarming Voice and Namida's critical Mud Shot in the face, drove the Drapion insane to the point of them unleashing an Earthquake at everyone, staggering Sniper big time as it was a critical hit for him. (Aight guys, did the Drapion's Earthquake hit your mons? And what will they do for round 5?) Spoiler: Current boosts Field: rain - 4/5 (boosts water attacks, weakens fire attacks, Thunder and Hurricane never miss) Dynamax Drapion: attack +1, speed -1 Mega Charizard X: attack +3, defense +2, speed +1 Sniper: attack +2, defense +2 Rocky: attack +2, defense +2 Tintri: attack +2, defense +2 Namida: attack +2, defense +2 Satomi: attack +2, defense +2
@SAF "Hit the dirt!" Ash called as the group hurried to avoid the Earthquake. Luckily, Brock has plenty of healing supplies to help Rocky and Satomi... (The group is tending to their Pokémon!)
@SAF (To clarify: Tintri and Namida dodged safely as per my dice roller--Rocky and Satomi got some damage from the attack.)
(Aight then. I'm willing to bet that Charizard would avoid Earthquake as they were still airborne, but that would be up to @Ignem to decide. Now waiting for what Charizard would do...)
Charizard saw the earthquake coming and immediately flew up to avoid getting hit. "Go in with a Dragon Rush!" Cobalt said. Charizard flapped his wings and charged towards Drapion covered in dragon energy.
@WavePearl @Ignem (One drama act coming up~) Spoiler: Round 4 Brock: Arrow shot (barrier 1/2) Marissa: Arrow shot (barrier 0/2) Mega Charizard X: Dragon Claw (RNG: 68 - hit) Tintri: Disarming Voice (auto-hit) Namida: Mud Shot (RNG: 83 - critical hit) Satomi: Calm Mind (attack + defense boost on self + allies) Drapion: Earthquake (RNG: 79 - critical hit on Sniper, hits on Rocky and Satomi, misses on everyone else) Thanks to the quake from before, Sniper was not the only one who took damage -- Rocky and Satomi too. But apparently the Inteleon had it worst to the point of getting knocked out. It sure made Marissa flinch when she saw Sniper making a faceplant in front of her right after the Earthquake had stopped. Spoiler: Marissa's expression Speaking of flinching, the giant Drapion was flinched too. But it was for a different reason: Charizard's Dragon Rush caught the Drapion off guard to the point of halting their previously executed Earthquake. Spoiler: Round 5 Sniper: knocked out Mega Charizard X: Dragon Rush (RNG: 64, 11 - hit, flinch) Brock: healing Rocky Ash: healing Tintri Misty: healing Namida Dawn: healing Satomi Drapion: flinched Spoiler: Current boosts Field: rain - 5/5 (boosts water attacks, weakens fire attacks, Thunder and Hurricane never miss) Dynamax Drapion: attack +1, speed -1 Mega Charizard X: attack +3, defense +2, speed +1 Sniper: attack +2, defense +2 reset due to knockout Rocky: attack +2, defense +2 Tintri: attack +2, defense +2 Namida: attack +2, defense +2 Satomi: attack +2, defense +2
(Welp, great. I've edited my previous post to try reuploading the image. How's that now? Also, I dunno if we're allowed to switch mons when the one in battle faints or if auto-revival a la PMD's Reviver Seed kicks in for things like Revives...)
@WavePearl @Ignem (Round 6 time, everyone~) As soon as Marissa got over her shock at Sniper's ungraceful faceplant, she quickly checked on him. Unfortunately though, it looked like he's out of commission for now. "Thanks, mate," the young girl whispered as she returned her Inteleon back to his Pokéball. "Just rest up for now, okay?" Spoiler: Current boosts Field: rain - 5/5 (boosts water attacks, weakens fire attacks, Thunder and Hurricane never miss) Dynamax Drapion: attack +1, speed -1 Mega Charizard X: attack +3, defense +2, speed +1 Sniper: reset due to knockout Rocky: attack +2, defense +2 Tintri: attack +2, defense +2 Namida: attack +2, defense +2 Satomi: attack +2, defense +2 (A Pokémon's stat boosts and/or drops will be reset when they're KO'd. And for those who are wondering, I'm essentially skipping Marissa's and Sniper's turn unless stuff happens that requires the former to do something in this round.)
"Charizard, Dragon Dance and then Sunny Day!" Cobalt said pumping his fist forward. Charizard still in the air got covered in Dragon energy. The energy soon disappeared as Charizard sent a ball of fire up. The ball cleared off the clouds that and instead replaced it with bright sunlight.
@SAF @Ignem The bright sun gave Brock an idea. "Rocky, use Fire Fang!" "Tintri, try Thunderbolt!" Ash called. "Namida, try Mudshot!" Misty called. "Satomi, use Calm Mind!" Dawn called.
