@Kittimancy "If you can tap into Mizu-hime's power, then you can tap into Yuki-hime's power too, as water and ice are related." Misty explained. "However, it's not unheard of for the ice power to be weak at first."
"O-oh..." Haku looked at his hands once more, still feeling awkward with his newfound powers. Brock did mention ice too, so...
@Kittimancy "We have three options..." Brock mused. "We can continue through the night, but that's too risky. We can camp somewhere, but there's still a risk yokai could find us. Or we can rest in an inn or a temple."
@Kittimancy "Thankfully, there is an inn near here...the White Raikou Inn." Misty smiled. "So named because it is close to the White Mountain." Serena agreed.
@Kittimancy Luckily, the way to the inn was not far. It was only three coins for a hot dinner, a bed for the night, and breakfast in the morning.
@Kittimancy Luckily, there were still rooms availiable. Ash was particularly happy to lie down in a warm bed after being on his feet all day.
While lying down in the inn's bed, Haku couldn't help but to think about his magical affinities that Brock had found for him. Wind and water, huh? Where should I start from for this one? And how the heck didn't I realize it sooner?
@Kittimancy The next day dawned warm and sunny. "Good morning." Serena smiled. "Today we should reach the White Mountain--home to the White Raikou sect of martial arts."
Haku rubbed his eyes as he came out from his room. Since he hardly slept last night, Belle's usual alarm felt somewhat annoying to him. But life must go on. "G'morning guys," Haku greeted the group. He did hear Serena mentioning the White Raikou sect of martial arts, but still couldn't get rid of his own train of thoughts from last night.
