Group RP Pokemon: The Road to the Grand Festival (Kanto--IC thread)

(Glad to see ya back! And yes, so I hope you're ready!)

 

(Hoo boi! Okay then, here I go!)
Lily took a deep breath, her first time in the appeal competition worried her, this wasn't something she was excited about...she just needed to have faith in her partner.
She nodded to her partner ready to go for their first appeal.
"Ready bud?" Marut nodded. Stepping forward, then he looked back to LIly awaiting her order.
"Okay! Marut! Use Perish Song!"

Marut nodded. Performing his attack. Lily couldn't help but tense up, her partner had done so well and she wanted to pick the best moves for Marut in this round.
He opened his mouth and started to sing calmly, he stood calmly looking almost regal as the song played out.
Lily didn't intend for this to be a flashy appeal, just a sweet song to hopefully entertain the crowd and get Marut warmed up.

(I had no clue how to describe Perish Song, best I could do.)

Lily smiled at Marut who had a smug look on his face.
"No, Marut keep that ego under control kay?" she asked "we've got a long way to go"
Marut frowned slightly before Lily patted him on the head.
Oh boy, the appeal section is going to be epic.

Cassia prepared her first Appeal - Round, performed as a musical number. As she sang, multi colored circles began to surround her, each slowly becoming more visible and growing in size until they launched into the air and promptly dissolved into quickly-disappearing sparkles. Being hypercompetitive as he was, Chris made sure that her attack would be difficult to combo off of.

Using a short, slow Eastern vocal-less melody, Eliwood began to show off kata with his eyes closed, his movements mimicking the rhythm of the song. At the height, his eyes opened with a vicious glare as he used Mean Look at the judges, shifting into a ready stance.
