Group RP Pokemon: The Road to the Grand Festival (Kanto--IC thread)

(I changed Aria's preferred brand from Blossom Beat to Starlight Harmony. If that isn't okay, please let me know ^^)

Aria had already registered for the contest but was having a hard time figuring out what to wear. Since she wanted Vee, her Finneon, to perform for the contest, she thought something blue might be good so as to match her partner. The girl looked around the store for blue pieces of clothing that may work for her performance.

 

Chris entered Angelic Crystal moments after Lily left. Despite the brand being for the more glamorous competitors, he'd hoped there would be something more toned-down for someone with a theme like his. It took a while, but he eventually found what he was looking for. Going with the brand's theme of snow and ice, a white suit-like outfit with a long ice blue scarf and silver clasp seemed simple enough for his tastes. He just hoped there would be a copy in his size, considering how small he was...
(should I make a drawing ref? The scarf is worn somewhat like HW Link's, which is wrapped around with one end trailing out the back.)

 

(I made a drawing ref. Not sure if it really fits in the Glamorous shop, but I did mention it was a more toned down design. The rhombuses are part of the design and not light reflections, just to clarify. Also, if desired, the scarf could be longer.)

Purchase in hand, Chris relaxed a little. That was one more step down. Now all he needed was to figure out how he would survive the Dance round. Cassia the Swablu was a pretty good flier and dancer, a little slower and more graceful than Cayenne, but how could he make her style work?

After much deliberation, George picked a blue outfit from the Heroic style, called "Silver Lord" and designed by Starlight Harmony; it came with a cape and white gloves. Once this was done, he actually felt a bit better about the upcoming match - and with little time to spare, as Brock's show would be starting soon, and he really wanted to catch it.

Lily was excited, she would get to hear another story!
She quite enjoyed listening to the one before, she was sure that this would be just as good.

 

Cassia perched snugly atop Chris's hair - a classic Swablu habit. Chris had let her out beforehand so they could have more time to work on their routine and generally his first Contest. But of course, they couldn't miss out on an example of something that could thrill the crowd that well.

 

The entire Contest Hall was definitely rather extravagant. Cassia often got distracted by a particularly shiny stone, which was a given considering her slight absent-mindedness.

 

George quickly found a seat in the hall and waited for the show to begin.
