"He's got his way with words... hmm, I wish I had that talent," Amara thought to herself. Ajil unintentionally read her thoughts and thought back. You'd have that talent if you just went outside of your house, you know. "What...?" Amara turned towards Ajil in confusion and shock. "You were reading my thoughts?" Unintentionally. Sorry. Amara sighed, "It's alright." (Ready)
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @Tala The great ceremonial house was easy to spot from anywhere in the village, and easy to reach from the lower level. Brock offered the letter to the guard outside, who read it over. "If you need to see the chief, he is receiving visitors now."
Windripper stood in awe at the beauty of the ceremonial house. He took a deep breath to keep himself calm.
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @Tala The Ceremonial House was a huge building decorated with banners depicting the family line Chief Dawnwing was a part of, and some of Chief Dawnwing's exploits. The more private areas of the house were off limits to the public.
The beauty of the outside was nothing compared to what the inside offered and it nearly took Windripper's breath away. "This place is almost more beautiful than the sunset at my mountain home," he thought to himself as he entered.
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @Tala In the ceremony room, Chief Dawnwing was listening to requests from both the tribe and visitors. While his muscular body and deep red feathers looked intimidating, he had a kind heart, judging each case justly and fairly.
Windripper was always nervous when it came to being in the presence of authority figures like a chief, so he kept to the back of the group so that he wouldn't be immediately seen, yet was also able to see everything that was going on. Skarmory kept nudging the pouch as they went. "Skarmory, not now," Windripper whispered harshly.
Jamie smirked as he saw windripper back there. He sneaked up behind him and pushed him forward towards the chief. "It is your chief so say hi for us" he laughed by now
@Shadowlaser14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @Tala After seeing off his previous visitor, it was the group's turn. "Ah, Sir Brock of the mountain landfolk. What leads you here to our lands?" "As I mentioned in my letter, I come because of worrying rumors in the human lands." Brock explained. He made sure to tell the majestic Taka everything about Duke Veron's ambitions, leaving nothing out.
Windripper nearly fell due to the Fey's push. He didn't want to show any type of anger in front of the Taka Chief, so he just simply regained his balance and chose to say nothing, though he did make a mental note to talk to the Fey about that later.
Jamie smirked as he crossed his arms. Litterly looking down at everyone. Still he bowed to the chief to show respect
