@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @~Dream-Of-The-Elements~ (fast forwarding to the end) The crowd roared as the tale ended happily. The mage noticed the group as the spirit dancer hurried to help gather tips. "Oh? Are you maybe a hero who has come to help us on our quest?"
@~Dream-Of-The-Elements~ "We appealed for others to help because of the scope of this quest." the mage explained. "Four adventurers won't be enough if the worst happens..."
Windripper was shocked that the mistral faced towards him. "Skarmory, This sounds like this would be quite the adventure...If they really want me and you really want to go, then I guess we'll go." "Cawk!" Skarmory cried in agreement.
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @~Dream-Of-The-Elements~ (we're waiting for the crowd to clear out before you receive the quest)
The story was finally over and surprisingly, Amara was hooked until the end. No one will ever know how it would have been possible, but it was for the best.
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @~Dream-Of-The-Elements~ The crowd figured that the show was over, and many chose to leave. Once the tavern had emptied a little, the minstrel decided to cast a seeing spell just to be SURE Duke Veron's minions were not listening in. Seilei colfin ar kadram tro... Everything in the room gained a white aura for a moment in response to the spellsong. "We're safe here...no one's listening in."
Now that the story had finished, Ariel slowly fell back into reality and looked around. A lot of people were leaving, which meant that she should have an easier time trying to find the green flower mentioned in the letter she had taken from that guy in the swamp. She couldn't remember why she had become so interested in finding it, but she was determined to do so.
"So. What is it. What you wanted." Jamie said with a smirk on his face. Doing his hair good and sitting relaxed on the chair.
Windripper waited and watched the crowd leave the tavern. Skarmory stretched his wings and yawned loudly.
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @~Dream-Of-The-Elements~ "We brought you here because of worrying rumors." the knight explained. "Should what these rumors describe come to pass, it would be the end of the world." "You are familiar with the tale of the Creator's Blade?" the minstrel asked.
"I've heard of it before," Amara listened closely to the minstrel's words, coming closer. "The legendary blade that sealed the evil beast of the prism."
"I've heard that story before," replied Windripper as he got up to listen better. Skarmory cried and followed his partner closely.
Ariel ignored the question as she continued searching around the room. She couldn't find any sign of a green flower there and was beginning to think that she was in the wrong place.
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @~Dream-Of-The-Elements~ "The emerald flower we referred to in the letter was this place." the mage explained. "We brought you here because rumors have been flying that a duke of the house of Veron even now plots to assemble it." the minstrel explains. "If that happens, he will release Necrozma, and bring terror and despair upon the land."
"Why would he do that?" exclaimed the taka with his wings outstretched, hitting some of the tables and chairs around him. "What would he gain from it?"
@Laserdragon14 @BZRich64 @ShireHime @~Dream-Of-The-Elements~ "From what I have been able to research, this duke simply wants power and fame." the knight explained. "The house of Veron has been home to many powerful families, but this duke's family was not one of them." "So by releasing Necrozma and potentially becoming a god, he will get the power and fame he desperately wants." the spirit dancer agreed.
