@sanianisa @Jupjami Applause filled the air as the impresaria left the stage. After a few moments, the theater's orchestra started a majestic theme that evoked the high adventure Akagami's story was known for.
@sanianisa @Jupjami After a few tense moments, the narrator appeared in a nook at stage right, harp in hand. "Long ago, Ransei was oppressed by many foes, from yokai, to evil sects, to black hearted warlords." she began. "But in these troubled times, a beacon of light shone brightly wherever evil lurked. A red haired maiden, skilled with a bow, brought hope to the people and struck fear in the hearts of evil. This maiden was so skilled, so brave, so pure of heart, that the people called her Akagami--'the goddess with the red hair'."
Everyone's gotten drawn into the story, so did Natsu and his two Pokémon partners. Only two because his other four were in their respective Heart Charms. Doesn't necessarily mean that they couldn't watch from there, though.
@sanianisa @Jupjami As if on cue (and with a sweeping vina flourish), a red haired girl in a beautiful costume appeared onstage. "Akagami made her keep as a hero for hire." the narrator went on. "But unlike mercenaries, Akagami's fee was very reasonable--she would often accept food, services, items, and information in return for dispatching her target."
@sanianisa @Jupjami The vina's song turned somber. "One day, rumors flew through the land of a band of evil warriors on the move. Since they moved quickly, like blades, the people called them the Ten Black Swords." the narrator explained as the curtain opened on a set of Akagami's humble forest hideaway.
@sanianisa @Jupjami (hitting the highlights to speed things along) A man comes to the hideaway, and tells Akagami, in song, about the terror the Ten Black Swords are causing in the land. Akagami responds in her own beautiful song that she is not afraid, and the Black Swords will be judged by her bow.
@sanianisa @Jupjami The actress playing Akagami had clearly played the role before. For all the audience know, this was the real Akagami singing on the stage.
(... I have completely forgotten about this haha) Her singing's so beautiful! Right Master? Shedinja remarked as he sat atop Yamaguro's head. Hearing no grunt of affirmation from his Master, the ghost-type turned to the warrior, only to realise the Yakshan was asleep.
@sanianisa @Jupjami In a triumphant final verse, the actress playing Akagami vows to bring the Ten Black Swords to justice. The song is so beautiful, it spurs applause at the end. Theater etiquette said that applauding a song was okay if it was particularly beautiful, passionate, and heroic.
Junaiper was still swooning at the actress playing Akagami when Natsu and Lucario joined in the round of applause. The former had a glance at his Decidueye and chuckled as he thought, Even Junaiper-sama can go fanboy mode, huh?
That was awesome! Shedinja exclaimed, twirling around as he can't exactly clap... Master, why don't we do this ever? Because I get bored and fall asleep then wake up the next day, Yamaguro wrote, having been groggily awoken by the loud sounds of applause and the ghost-type's talking.
(Okay~) (Also, I prolly should introduce my second character here...) Meanwhile at a mystic's guild somewhere in Spectra, Fumiko was having her weekly sparring with Luchabull to hone their physical fighting skills. The two went on until a senior mystic, a boy around Natsu's age, called her. "Oi, Fumi!" he called, to which Fumiko replied, "Ah, senpai!" The mystic-fighter girl and her Hawlucha stopped their battle and came to the one calling her. "Sparring with your Hawlucha again, eh?" the senpai teased her as he messed with her hair. She only responded with a giggle. This is quite a common sight since she first came to the guild, after all. "Anyway, the guildmaster wants to see you," he said. "Eh? What for?" Fumiko asked. The senpai only shrugged, then proceeded to drag her to the guildmaster's room. Not without Luchabull catching up with them, though. Guildmaster... why me? she quietly wondered.
