Are there any Pokémon you used to hate but now love? If so, why? I used to hate Mismagius because of it's sprite in game. I used to think that it's mouth was it's nose, and that it's plump neck thing and the space under it's real mouth, was it's mouth. I dunno, it used to look really weird to me! Until I finally looked up an image of Mismagius, and talked to Banshee about it. Now I love it :D

Hmm... I can't think of any right off the top of my head. I guess Breloom would qualify. I used to think this thing was utterly useless outside of Spore. Then, along came Technician...

I have quite a few. But I'll say the couple that made the biggest change from hate to like.

In all honesty, at first I disliked Scizor. I wasn't too thrilled that they made Scyther evolve and that he looked pretty different compared to it's pre evo. However it all changed when I actually had one in the game. I also saw Pokémon 4 Ever and the Scizor in there were pretty beast. That also influenced my liking to it.

Another one, is actually Bisharp and Pawniard. I couldn't stand the two of them for the longest time (much as 98% of gen 5). But my sister had one on her game and kept talking about it. She kept telling me all these cool things the Pokémon could do, the Pokédex entry, and all this other random stuff. For some reason, the idea about the two Pokémon just seemed really interesting to me. Now I think Bisharp is awesome and Pawniard, I think is adorable~

I also, didn't really mind Mismagius at first. Like to me, it was just another ghost Pokémon that was an evolution. For some reason I didn't really find it all too interesting. I didn't hate it but it didn't appeal. But then I started Rping one, had seen a few episodes with one in it (which might I add, Mismagius could be one heck of a demon to a person's mind .-.) , and I even looked up some of the skills it had before using one in battle. That little ghost is one heck of a power house, when trained right. Now Mismagius is probably my most favorite Pokémon xD

I had massive new generation xenophobia when I first encountered the third and fourth generations. Cherubi was one of them, but I've learned to love it.

When I first saw Cofagrigus I felt that the design looked too much like an inanimate object. However after a while the design grew on me as I I started notocing other design elemtents (the sharp teeth, red eyes, shadow hands, etc).

Also, Cofagrigus makes an amazing sweeper with the proper support.

I have a couple that I hate but I'll just tell my main ones. I used to hate Scizor myself to be honest, I didn't really like how it had reduced speed while when it was in it's pre-evo stage it was faster than it and I personally prefered Steelix to it since that guy stood out in battle more. But when I got one in the game and I actually battled with it, that's when I started to love it.

I also never really liked Electivier neither, because I just never thought it was that awesome compared to Electabuzz but then when I saw how it was in the anime and how it was in the manga, I loved how epic it was since then.

I also never really liked Banette much either, but then I just strangely started to like it ever since the manga.

G2 and onwards basically. Yeah, I was one of "those people" who thought everything sucked when they made more than 151 of the little critters, but I've gotten used to them now.

    (**** yeah, Metagross)

Pretty much things like koffing and those that I never used before but thanks to nuzlocke points of view changed.
Also magmar line is good example. And electabuzz. Magnemite line ( Magnezone is so boss augh ).
    Quite a long list really.
But I suppose magmar line really is the best example as I never understood why is it a thing yet now I love the thing because it's fun to draw and it's pretty neat.

For me, it was Krookodile. I didn't mind Sandile or Krokorok but I initially didn't want one. Didn't like how Krookodile looked but I really needed a Ground-type to beat Elesa so I decided to get me a Sandile. After it evolved all the way, I started liking Krookodile a lot because it's partial Dark-typing allowed me to sweep Psychics. He's been a mainstay in White and was in my team in Black 2 before I discovered I could get N's Zorua.

The Zubat line. I hated Zubats so much before my Nuzlocke run. Then that Crobat became my most reliable battler. XD Too bad it died. I will miss Raisin.

Oh, man...I could name a lot. The two most notable ones, though, are Blaziken and Oshawott. Having never played gen3 until fairly recently, I was not really a fan of the Pokémon. To me, Blaziken was...a ninja fire chicken. I needed a Fire/Fighting character for a story, however, and we already had an Infernape and nobody liked Emboar...so I went with Blaziken. Grew to love the character...decided to have him in my game team...and quickly wondered why the hell I hated Blaziken, in the first place. It's now one of my favorite Pokémon!

Oshawott is still a little on the "meh" side, for me...but after watching the Anime, I grew to like it. Although I'm still mildly peeved that the line was a wasted potential for Water/Fighting, I do really like Dewott. There's just something about Dewott that's adorable and badass, at the same time. It's like a ninja otter. Ninja otters are awesome.

Surprising, I've despised Scraggy/Scrafty at the start because I thought they were too ugly and they wasted a good Dark/Fighting Pokémon. When I started playing White, I needed another Pokémon to fit the team and then forced myself to use a Scraggy and I was surprised by how good it was and I loved using it. Once it evolved, it was a lifesaver, especially in the final battle. Then time passed by when I liked Scraggy and Scrafty became one of my favorite Pokémon because not only are they good in battle, I really started to like their designs. Eventually, Scrafty became my #1 favorite Pokémon and it still is today.
Some other Pokémon I've hated but now love include Honchkrow, Weavile, Archeops and Exploud. Long story short, hated their designs but then they grew on to me.

I didn't like Gastrodon so much when I first saw it. It just looked kinda ugly to me, but I ended up training one in Platinum and it's design quickly grew on me (I had the pink/brown one). Even the squelchy cry it has makes me smile now. And it's Ground/Water typing was really awesome, along with Storm Drain. It definitely earned its spot on my team, and I even used him in the Ground Type Expert tournament of the PWT. So, yeah, haha. I really like Gastrodon now. :)

Medicham! Back on Gen III I thought the idea of a Fighting/Psychic type was pretty stupid, and that Meditite was pretty stupid looking itself. Of course Medicham was on the same boat.

Then I actually got one, a few months ago. BAM. Super powerhouse, I really like the thing!

Weavile. I didn't necessarily hate it, but I didn't like that they made an evolved form for Sneasel. Once I actually evolved a Sneasel up into my first Weavile I loved it. Blade the Weavile was so awesome. I had to admit to liking the design and she was good in battle. I've actually had three Blade the, being picky, female Weaviles since the original in Diamond.

My top 3 would probably be Growlithe, Snivy, and Scraggy
Growlithe is now my favourite Pokémon, and I can't remember why I changed to liking him so much.
Snivy I chose in Black 2 as a starter and I actually saw it was a decent Pokémon.
Scraggy was because of Pokémon Conquest games. The amount of times Kunoichi and her Scraggy/Scrafty saved my team from total annihalation is countless.

-bows head and takes a moment of silence for Raisin-

Garbodor is also my answer. It's not that I hated him just that I didn't really get the point. Then my bf and I went and got some Pokémon cards for the first time in a really long time and we got a holo-Garbodor and we freaked out at how awesome it was. Now it's and inside joke and we love it. <3

I used to dislike Oshawott because when I first saw it, I thought it looked weak and weird. Before BW came out, I was set on picking Snivy as my starter because I thought it looked cooler. But after the evolutions were revealed, I immediately regretted my decision. Serperior's stats weren't that good and I didn't really like its design very much. Samurott on the other hand, looked awesome and its stats were pretty good. Plus, after seeing Oshawott in the anime, I realized that it's not a bad Pokémon after all. In fact, I think it's adorable

I used to hate the Vanillite family. (Sorry!) I thought it was very uncreative, but then I tried it out, and I absolutely love it now. Great Pokémon.
