Well, i like avalugg a lot! You could run toxic on it instead of curse but curse its ok too! Bellossom though, it has some problems! First of all, since it is(i guess) you special wall, you should run leech seed and not toxic on it, since it gains back HP and it is good for a wall to gain hp! Also, if you dont like leech seed you can put synthesis instead! I think the best set for bellossom is this:

    Bellossom @ Leftovers
    Ability: Healer
    EVs: 252 HP / 152 SpA / 104 SpD
    Calm Nature
    - Giga Drain
    - Synthesis
    - Leech Seed
    - Sludge Bomb

That way bellossom heals REALLY quick and you don't have to switch it due to the fact that it loses 2 stages of spA(leaf storm). Also, it doesn't need moonblast, since it hits hard on mons you don't really need to hit hard( fight can't really hurt bellossom and you have chatot, dragon really cant hurt you since you have avalugg). Sludge bomb poisons everything with a chance of 30% percent!

Also, this team has a lot of spAttackers! It needs a physical sweeper! So i recommend this instead of octillery:

    Basculin-Blue-Striped @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Adaptability
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Waterfall
    - Aqua Jet
    - Crunch
    - Superpower

Basculin doens't care about anything man! Adaptability helps it out a lot! Also, for raichu you can run volt switch instead of knock off! It gives you switch advantage! As for chatot, it really is a thing, but it has to be more powerfull! Also, i used chatot in the past and i never could roost(sadly)! So i recommend this set:

    Chatot @ Choice Specs
    Ability: Keen Eye
    EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Naive Nature
    - Boomburst
    - Chatter
    - Heat Wave
    - U-turn

If you use this set though you have to put life orb on raichu! (not bad either)! Bastiodon is quite good, although you have to run heavy slam instead! But you cant use bastiodon offensively anyway! (no attack) So i recommend this instead:

    Armaldo @ Life Orb
    Ability: Battle Armor
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Stealth Rock
    - Stone Edge
    - X-Scissor

It is much stronger and does almost the same job! What do you think?

These are the improvements! I hope you like them!

I see your point. Basically your job was to give balance to a group of Random Pokémon. It isn't that basic, since teambuilding requires an specific study of every part of the team. I like what you did with the team, some users take longer (or nerver end) doing this kind of analytics. I repeat, you did a good job.

But there are some things that don't look pretty well.

Bellosom doeesn't need Healer. this ability only helps on Doubles since Healer has "30% chance of curing an adjacent ally's status at the end of each turn". PU is a format that is almost always on Singles, so I won't be using Healer. The other ability is good instead of Healer, since there is a possiblity to see an opponent running Sunny Day. Changing its set, maybe I could consider it if I am going to make other modifications.

Avalaugg. When you say that Avalaugg won't be having problems with Dragons, I immediatly think in OU, but we are talking about PU and there are not too much Dragons that could participate on a PU match without being a weakness to cover. My point is, that Dragons are not a big menace on PU.

I like the adds. You give a good opinion and this Thread is a really good option for the players that are searching for balance and good sinergy.

Personal notes that I often give you

    • You should give more options on the attacks. Do you remember the Stone Edge/Swords Dance on your blog? this friend "/" is a good option to add more to your explanation. It also goes for items, like Basculin @ Choice Scarf/Choice Band.
    • Be aware of details. Like the abilities (look at Healer example on Bellosom on this same Thread)
    • Also, you keep your concentration on balance. You should try to know the strategy of the team that you are studying. If it is based on Stall, Hyper Offensive, Defensive, Anti-Offensive, etc, etc. If you are going to suggest, you should talk , with the person that is asking, about the main strategy and how the changes will affect their way of playing
    • Every format is different. When you study OU you have more options, if you are in lower tiers like RU, NU, PU the balance is lower since the stats are different and even if some Pokémon have similar options like Mega-Manectric and Raikou, they are not the same and the results are different
    • I like your work, keep doing like that because I know that you are helping a lot around. These details are all that I can say since it is really hard to find things to suggest to advanced players, but it is often the same : Take care of basics and have a good presentation because you are an advanced player right? You must show the example to the newer ones right? haha. I hope this helps you to improve. Talk to me when you connect, long time without talking ;)
