Disclaimer - The reason I'm making this isn't to get pity from you guys, but I know that we all care for each other, so I'm just going to make a big post about my "problem" instead of having to repost it every time someone asks. Disclaimer 2 - When referring to specific teeth, I'll be using "left" and "right" from my perspective. So, for example, "my left molar" would be the molar on my right if you were looking at me, or the molar on your left if you're comparing my story with your own teeth. Now, onto the actual tale. So, a few years ago, I was running around at my school, and I smashed by two front teeth into a pole. I was able to get them refilled, but it damaged the nerves inside the teeth, even killing the one in my right-front tooth. Apart from that, everything had been fine, until yesterday (the day before this post was made), I starting having a toothache in my left-front tooth, as well as my left canine tooth. Now, at first I just wrote it off as some regular old toothache from too many sweets or forgetting to brush one-too-many times, but as the day progressed, it got worse, so bad that it was hard to handle. Fast forward to the next day (the day this post was made), and I go to the dentist to see what's wrong, assuming I've cracked a tooth and need it removed. As it turns out, the nerve in the left-front tooth was now dying, which infected the tooth, and also the one beside it; my left canine tooth. Luckily, this means that no teeth need to be pulled, however I must now undergo what's called "nerve treatment", although I'm not sure if they're trying to revive my teeth or just killing them faster than they're dying. My next appointment is in 13 days from today, and I'll make sure I update this blog on that day. I just want to thank everyone on the LV Discord for trying to cheer me up during this trying time - I may seem like I'm being over-dramatic, but I cannot actually remove the pain due to an allergy I have to penicillin, so it is really becoming hard to deal with.
Teeth troubles, say no more, I can totally sympathize. I have no enamel and my roots of my teeth are really messed up from when they grew in. Always had teeth troubles and my heart goes out to those with them as well.
Tooth trouble is nothing to laugh at. I know this from when they removed my wisdom teeth. It is a really sentive area. Hope you feel better soon.
Ugh, I hate tooth problems. I've had my braces since March 2015, and was supposed to get them off March of this year. Apparently, everything is still developing, though just keep your head up, bud
I've had teeth problems in the past as well, so I understand your pain. I swear one of my teeth is still crooked... I remember one time when I was going to get all my wisdom teeth out. And I mean all four of them at once. It was terrifying, especially since the doctor in charge of the surgery said it was his first time doing something like this. Thankfully, it all worked out without a hitch in the end.
Wow, I am so sorry you have to go through all of that! I will be here to support you no matter what happens!
Tooth problems are the worst, I had to get all my teeth pulled and surgery on a canine that wouldn't come down and I know that it was tedious and annoying, so I wish you the best of luck with your tooth troubles! LV is here for you and I hope your appointment goes well!
OK, here's an update to the blog, since I was at the dentist again today! So, I went to the dentist, and I was given the same treatment as last time, except this time it was a little more intense. Also, there was a slight problem, as the last time I went, the dentist put something in my tooth to block something else, and because the hole where he put it was larger than anticipated, the blocking material sunk and become stuck, forcing the dentist to spend a long time trying to get it out. He didn't fully succeed in the end, but he said it wouldn't matter with the tiny amount of the blocking material left in my tooth - it had just hardened and become lodged too far to make it easy to get out. My teeth have been fine since the last operation, except for about 5 days before today, they started becoming very sensitive to the cold again, and last night, when they started aching if I applied pressure to them. Other than that, my mouth's been totally fine! I've been brushing more frequently too, so my overall dental hygiene is improving! It's a lengthy process, but I'd rather have to constantly go and get my teeth drilled in than dealing with the pain. Besides, I can't even feel my teeth being ferociously attacked thanks to the numbing agent used during the procedure~
That's good to hear @Pixel As someone who's had their wisdom teeth removed and a toothache, I hope ya feel better
Are your teeth still going okay? It's good to hear that everything went well, I hope that all the after effects subsided!
