I swear to god I hope some of you have seen Shelter or even listened to his most memorable works such as Sad Machine and Fellow Feeling. Isn't his music so moving? His trip to Japan may have stalled new compositions but the birth of Shelter was so worth it!
I don't listen to a lot of EDM artists these days because I outgrew that phase (thankfully), but Porter Robinson is one of those whose too good to pass up. I knew a few songs by him before SHELTER came around, but after I watched the music video for it and fell in love with the story, I decided that now would be a good a time as any to check out the rest of his stuff, and BOY am I glad I did. So many good songs, and some of them are surprisingly deep for EDM songs. He also seems like a pretty cool dude from what I've seen, so that makes me enjoy his music a little bit more than I already did.
I have seen Shelter's video a couple of times now and I even put the song on my phone XD I did check out some of his other stuff and while it wasnt really my taste, it's still really good.
