As musicians, we tend to do a lot of practicing throughout our weeks and we practice whenever we get the chance. There are all sorts of things that we can do to practice whether it be pitch bending, scales or even just with mouthpieces.

What is your practicing regiment? Do you do scales? Do you take private lessons? What instrument do you play? How often do you practice?

For me, I warm up my reed for about 3 minutes, run through chromatic scales, major scales, minor scales, blues scales, mixolydian scales, and dorian scales. After that, I work on whatever music I have for my private lessons. I practice ~3 days a week if I get the change. I have a lovely silver tenor sax, so that's part of the reason I love practicing so much ;)

I took private lessons and I also was a fan of the scales. Actually my practice is based on take my guitar when I got free time on Sundays.

I practice with my sister, we've both been playing the flute for a good 20 or so years, so we're pretty amazing at this point. But one practice a week prevents me from getting rusty.

Generally practice for me will be note bashing a song until I can get it right. I don't do much in terms of warm-ups (which is stupid), I just note bash and then play so I don't forget the note bashing. I practice about 5 to 7 days a week + plus private lessons at school.

Oh boy, back in the day, I used to be on a pretty rough practice regimen.
Practice 5 days a week, for 2-3 hours per instrument. I would go through different scales with each one, repeating like crazy. Honestly, I lost my passion for music for a decent amount of time due to how often I practiced. Nowadays, I'm just sticking to an hour a day, just taking m time and enjoying the music, even if it's terrible.

I practice for about five minutes mostly with the B flat scale. Besides that I usually work on one of my favorite tunes, which is played on the flute, but I play it on the instrument I'm using. Most of the time, it's the same notes, which isn't that bad.
I practice for about 3 days a week.
