I'm a fan of "nice pranks" like when the movie trailer voice guy does trailers for random people or narrates a drive through https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQEZD01HQII , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7T_2RVQBv0 , Although I do enjoy a good school camp style prank now and again, but only on close friends

 

Pranks are great, I'm usually the one who gets pranked, but I can almost always laugh at them xD

 

I'm always on the giving end of pranks, cause you know what they say, it's better to give than receive.

I have one prank in particular that EVERYBODY falls for, but I won't reveal.

 

Pranks are amazing when you're the one playing them

 

I love pranks. But not so much of the embarrassing and degrading ones. It honestly makes me very upset. But otherwise I like being the pranker and prankee.

 

Harmless pranks are fine, but some people go too far and could cause actual harm to people.
I've never been pranked myself, nor have I.

 

Some pranks are just brilliant, creative and hilarious. But I don't like the really humiliating ones either. Ones that go too far are just in poor taste, and are mean. Harmless ones between friends and family (and sometimes strangers) are usually the best haha.

Anyone know the youtube channel prank vs. prank? I used to watch their stuff, some of those are hysterical.

 

Oh, I love pulling pranks on people! What I usually do is wait until they ('they' usually being my sister) watch a horror movie, then when they're not there, go in their room or somewhere, tie invisible string on things like lamps, light switches, ect. then hide under the bed or somewhere without being seen. Then, when they're in the room, scratch on something, the wall, floor, etc. and (if you're under a bed) wait until they come close enough and grab their ankles. Then, pull the string to make it look like there's a poltergeist in the room.
I did that to my sister after she watched 'The Excorcist.' I was grounded for a month but it was worth it. It was funny!
My friends do like to pull pranks on me. I'm terrified of spiders, so what one of my friends did was get a remote controlled tarantula and put it in the hallway. I saw it and almost fell down the stairs trying to get away from it. And I don't know if this counts as a prank, but I was talking to one of my friends when a boy came up behind me and wrapped their arms around my waist, making me yelp and flinch really bad, then he ran to class. That really freaked me out, because I hate it when people touch me or anything like that from behindut I knew who it was and punched him, because he knew not to do that to me.
I like watching pranks on Youtube, especially when people put airbags under some sort of chair or where someone hides somewhere and jumps out and scares the living hell out of someone! I just love those pranks.
But even so, I think a prank goes 'too far' when someone gets really hurt. I mean, I've pulled pranks on my sister and cousins, but I never do anything that could get them hurt.
But I agree with Raptor, pranks are fun if you're playing them.

 

I'm not exceptional at pulling pranks, but I try. It's pretty fun, but I always feel guilty if it ends up badly.
I think one of my most successful pranks was hitting on @[member="Astralogy"] on Showdown while he was pretending to be Princess Destiny.

TBH I ain't that good at pranks haha. But harmless ones are pretty fun!

I enjoy the harmless pranks, where no one gets hurt or embarrassed. I detest those pranks as well as those scary pranks like being murdered or comiting suicide, those are just not okay.
So far the ones I really like is the angry snowman pranks!

But yeah, pranks are great xD Especially pranking KK just never gets old I USUALLY don't get pranked myself very often, because I USUALLY don't fall for it...

 

Honestly I don't think pranks should be hurtful. If it's on a close friend, that's probably okay, but otherwise, I'd like to make sure we're laughing with the victim and not at them.

I think my favorite pranks are the ones that confuse instead of damage. I once taped Rainn Wilson's (dwight from the office) face onto my sister's One Direction cardboard cutouts and posters. I heard her get home and scream from the next door. Classic.

Pranks like that are really funny (she actually got me back by taping 1D's face onto my Red vs. Blue posters in my bedroom), but pranks explicitly meant to harm or discredit people aren't as laughable to me.

 

If I'm pranked, which has only happened once, I take it as funny, depending on the situation.
I'm usually the one who does all the pranking, especially with gifts (Secret Santa's in particular). I'm not the one to do a trick that's cruel, just a small laugh. I usually give a gift, with something really awkward on top, and give them the thing they want inside.When the person opens it, surprise~
And bursts of laughter fill the air.

 

I think pranks are great fun when they aren't overdone. If they are just something small and creative then I'm all for coming up with them or getting pranked. 8)

 

I don't care much for pranks myself. But I do enjoy the creative challenge of creating a prank to send to my best friend (an avid prank lover).
The challenge is harder since she and I rarely get to see each other, so I have to use email.
Last year I sent her a really, incredibly sappy love letter. Signed by Gravity (an inside joke). This year, I sent her a fake acceptance letter to Rocket Corporation (personal theory, that before TR was created, Giovanni created Rocket Corporation as a front for their illegal activities.)
