Sometimes (maybe always, I don't know lol), when you go see a movie at the cinema, right before the actual movie begins, there's a bunch of advertisements and - a short movie! What do you think of those short movies? Should they stay or do you enjoy them? Which ones have you seen? Do you have a personal favourite?
It depends on the short--the Disney shorts are always good, and so are the Pikachu shorts before Pokémon movies
depends on the short. Some are good, some are bad, some are meh. I always liked the Pokémon ones because the tended to put me in a good mood before the movie and had a lighter tone.
They're a cool thing if they are actually somewhat related to the movie you're going to see and not random filler stuff that just happens to be made by the same production company/film studio. I guess it depends on what type of movie you're going to see too because I rarely have seen any of these, none of the movies I have seen in theater within the last five years (which admittedly is not that many, but still) has had one. I know I have seen these types of things before but I couldn't tell you what the movies were because it was that long ago. In recent memory it's just been trailers for other upcoming movies and most recently random ass commercials for cars and food products which I really don't like because they're just TV commercials with extended run-times. I'm fine with trailers though because they're always trailers that won't be seen elsewhere for a month or more unless you already know where to look for them.
I think they are a good way to type the movie and to get people to rile down to pay attention to the film before it fully begins.
