What is your favorite way to obtain shinies? PokeRadar, fish chaining, running around in the grass, Masuda methoding, trading?

For me, it's always been running around in Friend Safari's and such. This is where I've found the majority of my shinies, and with still tons more to get in the friend safari, I plan to try and get a shiny for every single Pokémon you can find in there.

Breeding, but only if you're breeding really good Pokémon. Like 5/6 IV's and good nature.
Otherwise, my favorite way to encounter a shiny, is by not searching for it. Finding an unexpected shiny is always awesome :)

With the ones I have they've all been found in grass by pure luck lol. But now that i'm going to try for running round in the friend safaris and breeding maybe I'll find I like those methods too.

I prefer running around in the grass to find it. Any other method is to precise and time consuming (irony alert) that I can't do it properly. I'm not very patient with things like that and I don't really hunt down shinies.

Can I be a loser and just say "I prefer to obtain my shinies by hacking them?" XD

Cuz...that's like the only possible way for me to ever get one >.>; Like, I'd rather get them legit by walking in the grass... but yeah. Last shiny I caught was near the release date of Crystal, and I got it in Gold. (not the big red f.y.i)

i prefer finding them naturally too, nothing like the thrill of seeing one when you're not expecting it! i've gotten a handful this way too. i've MM'd a few times but always gave up around a box full of non shinies. hunting takes the magic away, really

This. I found a couple in White by pure luck, but otherwise....my luck with shinies is zilch.

After 10 boxes full of Eevee, Noibat, and Skrelp(EACH)...I gave up all hope of ever obtaining a gen6 shiny. But if I DID have the luck you guys do, I would probably prefer the masuda method.

Hunting has literally never taken the magic away for me, it's always increased it greatly. Just because I'm looking for one, seeing those sparkles has never been less beautiful as I don't even know if I'm ever going to find it. I've spent weeks searching for specific shinies in the grass, so when I actually found it, I was just as shocked and surprised as I would have been if it randomly appeared to me.

I'd rather breed them by using the Masuda Method. It has a higher chance of success. Plus, I don't have the Shiny Charm yet so it will take a loong time to just walk in the tall grass for a shiny Pokémon, even in the Safari.

I'm aiming for masuda method but I've yet to accomplish anything with it so far. I'm more of a collect them all kind of Pokémon player than a spend a few hrs trying to catch one. By breeding at least I can do something else while I wait for eggs to to be laid and hatched.

The Shiny Charm doesn't work for me I guess... Ever since I obtained it, I haven't seen a single shiny...

I prefer to catch them naturally with random encounters.
