In a lot of games nowadays, especially in Facebook games and apps, there is premium money, which lets you accomplish something in the game that you couldn't with typical currency. Sometimes, the game even gives you some premium money to tempt you into buying some.

Have you ever used premium currency in a game? Did you buy any with real money? Why? Will you ever do it again? If you haven't, why haven't you? Do you watch ads to gain premium money?

I have never been one to go for the premium Currency. I'll take free currency sometimes, and I'll spend what it gives me if I deem it worthy. most times though I hoard what it gives me free, and then I eventually delete the game

I have, but only for Maplestory. I have like 10 cents in my Facebook account tho because I used to watch the video ads.

I really dislike having to pay for money in-game, so I never do it. I think carefully on what to spend the in-game currency I get at the start of the game on, and I often end up deleting the game after I use up everything. That kinda depends on the level of difficulty though... I can make it through a hundred more levels in a game without using any currency, or I end up getting stuck after twenty levels after having used up all my currency.

Honestly I try to avoid these kinds of games at least costs. I don't mind paying a lot of money or a monthly fee to play a game or buy extra DLC packages if I feel like it, but having to pay irl money for in game currency just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. For example, I was playing Elsword a few weeks ago and I was just getting started. Then I noticed this super cute schoolgirl outfit you could buy for your character in the in game store but THEN I noticed you had to pay with premium currency. Needless to say I shut the game off right then and there and never played again. I'd never felt so deceived by a game >_>

I have used it a couple times here and there for mobile apps when I still played them but the game I've spent the most on is Hearthstone. The thing with Hearthstone is that it's still way cheaper than most other card games so I don't feel like I'm being cheated that much to be honest.
